“The food and service were outstanding. After a long day of travel, the restaurant was a welcome rest. We sampled the prime rib, chicken wings, and wedge salad, all of which were tender and delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.“

Everything was perfect, Mushroom Risotto was exceptional, lavender mocktail, Beef Wellington and sides, and of course the sticky toffee pudding is a must. Our server Allan (I’d sooner call him a “liaison” or “guide”) was nothing less than “textbook” and could write a manual on how to do this job because he nailed it 1000%. Courteous, polite, provided nothing but the best service, spent some time chatting with us, but also left us alone too and was literally there every time we needed something and was one step ahead. The frozen lemon coffee table is delicious. The milk tea smells a little fragrant but the taste is not enough.
The stir-fry could be a bit dry and a little salty, but it's still fragrant.“

The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!“

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“
