The food is fair. We have been here several time but the wait is super long. Every time we went there, we tended to wait for 20 mins for the food even they were not busy at all. I don’t think the food worth the wait.

Food is ok, rice is too mushy , meat is not seasoned enough . Only eating cuz I miss home food.

Service was a little slow as the items we ordered would have been pre-made. The green bean soup was delicious but the tofu dessert was just okay.

Its service and food is so nice that I bring quite a few friends there for dining almost every week.
Price is not that expensive. Reasonable. Drinks and desert is authentic.
It’s a very low profile Chinese Bubble tea, food and desert place to enjoy.

Atmosphere is very lovely and the food is really tasty and comfy. Everyone working there was very nice!

Nostalgia.
Taste of Taiwan, surrounded by the feel of Taiwan.
Great and authentic Taiwanese dishes!

Seat down and ordered with male server, 30min later, check with another server, our orders not even placed. Added another order for take out, and gave wrong order. Super disappointed!

Great food and service.
This is more like a dessert shop than a restaurant for meal.
Free parking lot behind the restaurant. Can’t always find a spot though

I must say, the portion size is quite small. I ordered a chicken thigh with rice, and while the taste was good, I was disappointed by the thinness of the chicken. It was mostly skin or crust, with hardly any meat. I tried the same dish at different Taiwanese restaurants in Vancouver, and I never found the chicken to be that thin.

This used to be my favourite Taiwanese restaurant in Vancouver, but not anymore. Sadly, this is the second time I’ve been disappointed—and it’ll definitely be the last. I won’t be coming back. 😢

The taste and portion sizes have changed a lot since 2023. I understand running an F&B business in Vancouver has been challenging with rising food costs recently years. BUT at the least you should maintain reasonable portions to feed your customers properly. I’m an Asian girl and even I found the portions unreasonably small.

Trust me it’s the same in their other store in RMD as well since this was not the first time I was disappointed…. maybe the chef just wasn’t in a good mood that day or something LOL. After giving it a second chance, it’s clear the quality just isn’t the same.

Oh, and good thing I took photos this time 🤓

Nice food and services

A nostalgic bite of Taiwan—rich meat sauce rice and tofu sides pack a flavorful punch, while the taro rice noodle soup warms the soul (if not the stomach, thanks to the shy pork). Moody, melancholic décor seals the deal. A sweet spot for memory-laced munching.

Love the tofu dessert and tea jellies here. Best in town

Eating here is like a time warp to a simpler time in Taiwan. Food has familiar Taiwanese taste profiles for comfort foods. Disappointed that many items on the menu were not available. There are table minimums per person which is not a typical thing.

I love this store - esp the pork intestine noodle soup and desserts 🤗
