Server was nice. First time in this restaurant, dark rustic atmosphere. Was a quiet little place. Food was ok. BBT was ok.

The design is cool, bring you back to Asia during 1990s. But it’s so loud, very packed…
I like the shave ice. The meat ball skewers are good too.

Is this a joke? $20 for a ton of rice and tiny portion of pork 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 wow amazing. Dont bother coming here.
Except for the desserts, they barely have vegetarian meals. (Marinated dried tofu, Taiwanese seaweed salad, Shaved ice, Tofu pudding).
The Guandong Boils has radish and cabbages. However, the broth is made by simmering kombucha, bonito flakes, vegetables, and sauce.
The restaurant has an old Taiwan vibe.

Turkey rice is the best, and definitely recommend to try it (other than traditional pork rice. Oden is reasonably priced and tastes good! It is recommended to eat radish oden after 8 o'clock, which is relatively soft.
Marvin is awesome!!!!!!!

Stopped by here for dessert. Had some really great Taiwanese Desserts. The desserts were fantastic and not super sweet. Had the three colored Tofu Dessert. Was so delicious and silky. Had the taro filled cakes. Was very delicious and would recommend this place if you are wanting to try Taiwanese desserts.

The traditional Taiwanese desserts really shine here. Shaved ice is good, but don't miss the pudding with fixings.

Picked up takeout and had it at home.
Meat Ball ($10.25) – came without any sauce.
Soy Tofu Pudding with Toppings ($16.45) – very little soy milk, mostly just tofu and toppings.
Not great value for the price.
The food was plain and not memorable. Too expensive for the quality.

More dessert and snack focused than Memory Corner. Free plaza parkade, though limited spots during meal hours. Metered street parking.
Saw this place on Instagram and wanted to give it a try. Overall was a good experience, service was very caring and attentive. Drinks and dessert were good. But, the food was just okay. We got the braised pork belly on rice. The rice was just lukewarm, and the pork belly was very hard at the bottom, would’ve been better if it was braised longer. The deep fried sesame balls with pork fillings were also quite bland, nothing special. I would come back and try something else, but hopefully they improved that braised pork belly dish.

Decor in this this little gem was very unique, almost like I stepped in a time capsule and turned back time. Food was tasty and pretty reasonably priced.
Would go back again.
