“A genuinely cheerful lady took my order.....a rarity in the service industry these days ....and the cooking staff carefully asked what I wanted ...or did not want...in my Shawarma plate. The meat was tender and tasty, the hummus was creamy, the pickles tangy, the baklava of just the right sweetness and no loud blaring music or TV ....Pleasant experience all in all. I definitely recommend them and also hope that you have the luck of getting the same staff as I met this afternoon (Friday, 14 Aug). It felt a bit out-of-culture to ask their names otherwise I would have definitely given each of them credit by their names. Thank you for the pleasant experience.“

The food was amazing. Every dish was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of rich Turkish flavour. It was unlike anything we’ve had before and easily one of the best meals of our trip to Vancouver.

A special thank you to Faig, the owner, who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about his restaurant. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into creating a great experience for every guest.

“Great Halal option in downtown Vancouver“

“Stopped at the restaurant in downtown for lunch. Ordered a chicken durum, knafeh and Turkish tea. They prepare fresh bread for every order so prepared a fresh bread for my durum, chicken and veggies were fresh too. Knafeh too was fresh out of oven and tea as well. This place is newly renovated and looks amazing. Staff and ambiance is nice too!“

“I went today and I was really pleased. The service was fast, the staff were very attentive. The environment was also clean and comfortable. It was my first time but I will definitely come again, I recommend it (sorry I forgot to take a photo).“

“I placed an order for the Doner Platter Mixed Combo with Door Dash. The food came packed really well and it arrived warm. The delivery came on time. There was an abundance of delicious food. I wasn’t able to finish it and I was hungry. The chicken was incredible, the beef was a little bit tough and chewy, but was tasty. The sauce on the top of the beef and chicken was really good. Overall, great experience, good quality and good value for my money. I cannot make any comment on the desert as I didn’t try it yet , but it looks promising. I see myself ordering again from this place.“

“Amazing food and even better service! I stopped by just before closing and only ordered a chicken plate. The owner was incredibly kind and surprised me with a free cucumber salad. Such a thoughtful gesture! Everything was fresh and delicious. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“The portion is 30% less than before. I have been ordering from this place for years, I understand with the inflation and everything that they have the price increase, and I'm OK with that, but I'm not OK with the portion size. I still do love the food is always consistent with flavor, but definitely not happy with a portion. The meat had very little amount in there, And I was gonna charge two dollars for extra hot sauce, which I'm OK paying, but the container was so tiny“
