2025.12.23. Uncle Lu is a pork belly themed restaurant. Their food mostly good. We liked their marinated pork belly, braised pork belly rice. The seasonal vegetables with minced pork sauce was alright. We didn't care for their meatball dumpling with the gelatinous coating.

No Wifi, credit cards accepted for charges over CAD 30. Recommended.

This Taiwanese restaurant features a pleasant and well-designed interior, giving off a comfortable and modern vibe the moment you walk in. The menu offers a variety of classic Taiwanese comfort dishes, so we decided to try a few staples: beef noodles, braised minced pork on rice (滷肉飯), and the assorted deep-fried platter.

I haven't visited Uncle Lu for a long while. I had ordered their famous beef noodle soup and it was full of flavors as I had remembered. The broth and beef was hearty and pack full of deliciousness.
