great poutine! bland salads
Excellent airport dining option near gate E 80 at YVR. Asian rice bowl was delicious, big portion, well seasoned. The chicken BLT was great too. One person didn't love their burger. Local beers on tap are a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices are airport expected.
Nice restaurant in the Vancouver Airport. The food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive, the only drawback was the cost, very expensive.
We made a reservation for lunch so at the correct time, we went to the hostess and told her about the reservation. They don't seem to receive OpenTable reservations. When I told her, she seated us immediately so don't just wait for the reservation. Be proactive and you'll be seated. Our server was Sonny and he was very attentive to our needs. He came to the table asking if we needed anything several times during our lunch. The food was surprisingly good for a restaurant inside the airport. I had fish and chips and the fish was a large piece of cod cooked just right. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the airport.
I was informed the burgers have bread in the patties, making the burger patties not gluten free. I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons, and not once in my life have I seen a burger patty that was not gluten free. Had my husband not asked about the fries being gluten free, I would have ordered a burger and eaten it without the bun. Seriously dangerous to not disclose that there is randomly gluten in a burger. Or that there are now carbs in the burger patty. You can’t put random stuff in food and not disclose it to your customers.
Even if I could eat a burger with bread in the patty, that’s not something I would want to spend my money on. What a joke.
Our waitress was awesome and thoughtful and helpful. She made sure I was able to find something to eat. She was fantastic, but the decisions made outside of the restaurant are mind boggling.
My family and I were told that the wait for food would be about 30 minutes after we placed the order. We were okay with the 30 minute wait and placed our orders...fast forward to 50 min after placing the order, we asked the waiter if there was an ETA for our food as we were going to be boarding in 25 min, in which her response was “well I told you it was going yo take 30 or more minutes” in which we replied “no you said, about 30 minutes, and it's been 50 min, our plane is going to board soon, can you please check” she proceeds to check and then comes back and said our food was next to be prepared MEANING THEY HAD NOT EVEN STARTED MAKING IT! and that she apologizes but the cooks were back there having a fighting match and she doesn't want to get in the middle of it. Unprofessional, and just terrible overall! Save your self time and go to Tim hortans! My family and I were then on a 6 hour flight starving since we didn't get to eat as after we left the restaurant we went to Tim's and their line was too long to risk missing our flight. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Wish I could tell you anything about the food. I wasn't able to get that far. Used their app that they provide to be seated as a party of one. I watched 30+ people get seated including four parties of one. Dont use the QR code they provide for seating, just stand in line.
Does not cater to mothers children while in airport. Great place if no kids.
Service was amazing! Fast and super friendly and also the interactions between the staff were fun as well. Looked like they all enjoyed working with each other and at the Bar and Grill. I had a burger and fries, and the fries were great, but the burger was not to my taste at all. Someone next to me had what looked like a Rueben and it looked so good! Next time that will be my pick.
The restaurant is a bit on the small side so you may have to wait for a table. Food is good but keep in mind it’s very pricey.

Very dirty tables and chairs, food quality was bad, quantity was big and greasy. Reservation using open table is useless, you'll need to stand next to the door. Airports restaurants use to be bad, this is a good example.
We ordered double Caesar’s, nbd. $12.50, it specifies on the menu. The bartender tries to rip us off by charging us $17.40/drink and then treats us awfully after.
Probably the worst burger I have ever had. Fries are okay though.
I don’t typically have high expectations with breakfast and airport eateries. I thought the serving was reasonable for the price paid. They were very honest about the wait so there was no surprises.
The Canuck Burger was great.
