“Lovely atmosphere. We hiked up the Sea to Summit trail on 4/4/25, starting in the early AM and ending up at the Sky Pilot restaurant for lunch.
To call this a “restaurant” does it a gross disservice. It is a point in the sky. A lovely lookout. A reward at the end of a tough hike. And pretty good food.
We had the brisket and pulled port sandwiches with some coffee. The sandwiches were solid A’s after a long sweaty hike. The coffee was a B, happy to have but not the best roast.
The atmosphere - oh, the atmosphere - was really one of a kind. The deck was perfect. Just perfect. Could not have been happier to have been there and could have spent all day looking off into the valley.
If you plan to hike, be prepared for a seriously rigorous experience, and wear shoes with some grip. Basic running shoes are suboptimal toward the top if snowpack remains - too slippery, and you really can’t afford that on parts of the trail.
The gondola ride is brief and breathtaking. I’d go again for that alone.
A+ experience. Worth the ride. If visiting Vancouver, as am I, make the effort. Worth every moment spent.“

“In early June, my husband and I had booked a room for the night in Squamish after travelling from Victoria, across the Strait of Georgia on the ferry, then driving up the Sea-to-Sky highway. I had the Sirloin Steak with garlic butter, Parmesan Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini. It was delicious! Hubby had the Oven Baked Salmon with Parmeson Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini. He enjoyed his meal also. We had great service from the wait staff person. Thank you, White Spot!“

“I love retro style asian diners. This place is one of them and it's all the way out in Squamish. They open early enough for me to drive out and get some grub before the drive home. Now fair warning, if you don't understand the significance of places like this in Canadian historical dining culture, then maybe I suggest you ho elsewhere for your pretty little lattes and vegan sandwiches. This place serves old school western chinese food and breakfast and no frills burgers and fries.
Places like this are getting scarce. As owners get older and the kids don't want to takeover the business it gets sold and gentrified. But as long as they're around, I'll visit them as much as I can as well as other similar style diners like this. For me the breakfast was decent, I'm not expecting too much. It was good. The lady there was nice and cooked us a wonderful breakfast. They bought this about 15 years ago (if I remembered right) Like it used to be back in the 60's to 80's. Call me old, or old fashioned, meh, it's just how I like it. How we like it.“

“just visited this restaurant with my cousins the girl working there her name was SIMRAN we ordered through drive-through. She served us. She was so humble even she was on training I believe because her coworker told me because they asked us to wait because of our order was big and she was such a humble girl, I hope I see her type of employee in every restaurant. I will always visit to this restaurant whenever I come next.“

“Consistently the gold standard for Dairy Queen food quality, cleanliness and service. All other Dairy Queens should send ambassadors to Squamish to find out how good a Dairy Queen can be.“

“Some Wendy's in Vancouver will make you regret the choice of eating there, but this Wendy's at Squamish proved me wrong. Not only the Bacon Deluxe was fresh and well served, they are generous on the toppings, they have plenty of parking spots and ample dining area. Wendy's back on 5* again.“

“McDonald’s ice cream is a classic treat—soft, creamy, and sweet. The cones and sundaes are simple but satisfying, and it’s an easy stop for a quick dessert. The only downside is it can get a bit messy and occasionally the machine isn’t working, but overall it hits the spot“

“The Staff was friendly and the coffee was good. The burger was dry and not worth the money imo. Bring your own pickles because they are bad.“
“New Britannia has officially won me over with this tip top establishment!! We went for my mom’s birthday dinner and I must say… the food was great, the drinks were great, and the service was… you guessed it, great!! The octopus, scallops, and oysters were my fav however it’s the kind of place where you can’t really go wrong. Kudos to everyone involved 👏“

“This is the place where the Virgin River NF series was filmed. The area is magnificent with fantastic views and wild life as expected being here in BC, Canada. The grill was packed and customers just kept on coming. The service was good but the food was substandard. Maybe I should have ordered the River burger...next time perhaps. Go there to walk along the river and perhaps grab a beer and a burger 🍔. The place is a bit pricy for pub food.“

“Now this is a burger. Start with the fresh, high quality beef still oozing with juicy taste, trapped with goodness. But throw a dash of unique toppings rarely seen in burgers, like shredded carrots and pineapple, well it takes a whole new level. And their sides are also amazing and filling. You haven't lived until you tried this.“
