“The owner at Minh Cafe is honestly such a gem. He’s super passionate about doing things right and never takes shortcuts. The banh mi bread is made in house and you can really taste the difference. The Kouign-amann is absolutely delicious, not too sweet, with beautiful caramelization and layers that make it such an amazing pastry. The coffee is just as special since the beans come from the owner’s family farm in Vietnam, and the robusta blend made the best egg coffee I’ve ever had. It was perfectly balanced and the egg custard was smooth, light, and not too sweet. You can tell the owner truly cares about quality and doing things the proper way, which is so rare these days.“

“I walked by yesterday and saw this tea shop. Daughter loves hojicha so we went for hojicha latte. Excellent Hojicha Latte, both hot and cold, not bitter and full flavoured. We wanted matcha tiramisu but they were out of stock, so we went with sweet potato tart instead. Taste is really good, but portion size is on a small side. They probably have some staffing issues but the lady (owner?) at the counter tried her best to take care of our orders. Will continue support our local small business and hopefully they will stay in our community. ありがとうございます, ご苦労様でした.“

“I went to the Guildford location of ShareTea on Sunday, the 28th of September and the service was amazing. The workers were kind, they let me take my time when ordering, and they didn’t rush me or make me feel unwanted. Besides the customer service, I noticed that when I walked in the 3 girls instantly got up and rushed behind the counter to take my order. I stayed in the store for a little over an hour and noticed they only had time to sit down when no one was in the store (very rarely because it was so busy), and when they did, they only had a minute or two at most. With how hardworking these girls were, they deserve time to sit down, they all looked extremely tired.“

A bit of a bummer that for delivery (through Uber), the fees and wait times seem ridiculous - $8.99 delivery fee with a wait of 50-65 minutes? I can order something from bubble tea places in Langley thats way cheaper in fees and at least half the wait time.

“My girlfriend and I stopped by Mama Mia today. The service was really good as we were welcomed right as we entered. Shoutout to the Asian lady working today for the excellent service. She let us try out many flavours and was very patient throughout the entire visit. We both ended up choosing the mango flavour with bubblegum and cappuccino. We definitely recommend the mango flavour. We will be visiting again soon!“
