Sawbuck's Neighbourhood Pub

Pretty typical bar food. Nothing special. Got a good range of happy hour choices. I don’t think the waitress checked in enough with us. We went around 5pm so it wasn’t too busy yet either. But every time we ordered a drink it would take an additional 15 mins because the waitresses we noticed really love to chat to each other. Sawbucks has been part of my family for ten years. Visiting my grandmother nearby and meeting my cousins for beers. I always liked the club sandwich on marbled rye bread. Gramma is gone a few years ago, but it's still a comfortable place to visit my cousin. The place has changed mostly for the better. Renovated a few years ago. Now it's part of the coop. Been coming here on and off for 20 years. Never seen it so short staffed and disorganized. 1 bartender and 2 servers couldn’t keep up on a somewhat busy football Sunday. (Pub was 3/4 full.) It took 25 minutes after ordering to get 4 drinks for our table and over half an hour for my Mom to get an iced tea. Food was average but took an hour.
