Amazing tasting menu! Unique ingredients, beautiful presentation, and great interpretation of flavours and textures. Quite interactive too. Great staff who work there, and we were even able to interact with the Chef. Thoughtful wine list too, featuring local BC Wineries. 12/10 would come back again.

Amazing experience! Fine dining that felt like sitting at your local bar. A very fun experience with exquisite food and drinks, a definite repeat on our list next time we visit Vancouver!

The restaurant is quite small, but it feels warm and intimate the moment you walk in. The service is truly exceptional, the staff pay attention to every detail and really try to make you comfortable. I asked for hot water, which they didn’t have, but they still made the warmest water possible for me. I really appreciated that effort.

The lamb dish was amazing, and the final dessert was unforgettable. The sweet and sour flavors melt together beautifully and even help balance the natural lamb aroma. I loved both courses so much.

A wonderful dining experience from a 4-year Michelin-recognized restaurant. Highly recommended.

In this Foodie city of Vancouver, this is truly my fave 1-star Michelin restaurant. Best food, service, ambiance & value in the whole city. It's my go to for every important meal with folks who value a premium product & experience. The chef / owner & team provide a service that is parallel to Michelin restaurants in NYC & Shanghai, but with the comfort & ease of Vancouver. Perfect combination!

Excellent food, inventive and delicious, and everything is done without the pretentiousness that weighs down the experience at other Guide-rated restaurants in Vancouver. Decent value of itself and by comparison to its peers. One of the best dining experiences I've had in the city.

Barbara is now one of my favourite restaurants, it's a very small restaurant but cozy and the food and service are amazing.

The dining experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant did not meet my expectations for gourmet cuisine. While the flavors were creative and innovative, they lacked depth and cohesion. Additionally, the charred cabbage I ordered was unfortunately burnt. When I brought this to the attention of the chef/server, my feedback was acknowledged but no further action was taken. At this level of dining, I believe such matters warrant a more substantial resolution, and I was left feeling quite disappointed.

La experiencia es todo un espectáculo, lugar pequeño muy acogedor, la comida IMPRESIONANTE, el chef y propietario siempre al pendiente y metiendo las manos en la preparación, totalmente recomendable.

Barbara is an interesting restaurant. The food is amazing. The fact you can choose from three dishes (vegetarian, fish/seafood and meat) in each course is really nice since can choose which prefer, and sample more dishes when each person in party gets one.

Meal was 10/10, eggplant chips were amazing (never change those) - strip loin and corn were our favourite dishes.
