Manpuku Bento is a quaint, little take-out only spot that serves authentic Japanese food. It is known for its amazing food and great flavor, with everything freshly made and generous portion sizes. The menu includes popular dishes like Japanese curry with chicken katsu and pork and tofu, as well as a "Mind-Blowing" tuna bowl with fresh tuna, shrimps, crispy fried crisps, and a perfect amount of tasty rice. The Japanese style mapotofu is also a great choice. Customers recommend ordering in advance or waiting about 10 minutes, as it's worth the wait. Friendly staff, including Kohei and Ayaka, provide excellent service. Manpuku Bento is Vancouver's first authentic Japanese bento shop, making it a fantastic option for an affordable lunch, perfect for picnics. However, the space is tight, which is understandable given the high rent in Vancouver. Don't forget to add tonkatsu to your order.
