So tasty and delicious!! Authentic Mexican flavors!
The ordering system is so fussy. When we arrived, we weren’t told that you had to go back to the front of house to place your order, and pay up front. This means for every drink, you have to navigate through tables and people to go to the front, wait for them to deal with new customers, order, pay and sit back down. While we were paying for our order, people waiting to come in decided to leave. It’s also not accessibility friendly and I would t recommend for physically disabled...read full review

Chancho Tortilleria provides a tasty dining experience with its flavorful vegetable and meat tacos. The 1/4 lb squash and 1/4 lb potato tacos, along with the carnitas campechana, are highly praised for their exceptional taste. Customers enjoy the customizable meat options and the variety of salsas and toppings that add to the meal. The restaurant makes its own tortillas and tortilla chips in-house, which adds a special touch. The salsas, especially the green one, are appreciated, though some find the spice level varies. Chancho delivers a bold and delicious take on traditional Mexican carnitas, with the panza (pork belly) being rich, well-seasoned, and tender. The meat is flavorful without being greasy, and the accompaniments, including salsas and pickled vegetables, are bright and balanced.
The birria tacos are another standout, packed with deep, savory flavor and just the right amount of spice. The portion sizes are generous, and the café de olla is a refreshing drink option. While the prices may be a bit high, the food's homemade quality and rich flavors make it worth it. Service is generally fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has plenty of space for seating, including a cozy patio area where dogs are welcome. Overall, the mix of Central and South American tunes playing at a moderate volume complements the experience, making it a favorite spot for many who love good, flavorful Mexican food.
