Dark Table Reviews
I went there and food and service was amazing. it's such a experience you have to try it. amazing
Since the Calgary location is permanently closed, I am going to write a review about how terrible the management is! I was a server and I found out when Ishowed up to work and found out it was my last shift, and i was going to be unemployed without any notice. the owner is terrible! shame on him. Do not support this man’s business. They don’t deserve a single star
It was a cool experience. Absolute darkness. Never had a dinner like this before. We had a great time. Food and drinks were really good. Our waitress was amazing. It was fun listening to other people around you talking an joking about how dark it was. I definitely recommend going there

Dark Table offers a unique dining experience in complete darkness. Guests can enjoy a wide range of menu options, including steak, which is sometimes pre-cut for convenience. Servers provide excellent service, with some, like Omid and Yuko, known for being friendly and engaging. The atmosphere is fantastic, making it a truly unique dining experience, especially for special occasions like birthday parties. While the food is delicious, some customers mention that the portion sizes can be small compared to the price, suggesting that diners are paying more for the experience than the food itself.
The dining concept originated in Switzerland by a blind man, Jorge Spielmann, who blindfolded his guests to show them what eating is like for a blind person. Without the sense of sight, the senses of touch, taste, hearing, and smell are intensified, providing a truly extraordinary experience. Customers have described the experience as "a trip in itself," with one guest feeling "disoriented but the experience was extraordinary." Overall, the attentive staff and unique atmosphere make Dark Table a great spot for sharing an incredible experience with family and friends.
