Front of house needs a lot of work - we weren't served for over 20 mins, we were not the only table who had to get up to ask for help/to be served. They had a large party coming after our reservation but they clearly showed us that our patronage and experience was not important. Food was great but the less than mediocre service really detracted from the experience.
Melody made our visit to Delara Restaurant truly wonderful. She was so kind, welcoming, and friendly, and her service was excellent from start to finish.
We ordered the Gheymeh and the Koofteh, and both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and we really enjoyed our meal. For dessert, we had Baghlava with tea, and both were great. The Baghlava was especially enjoyable because the sweetness was perfect, not too much at all.

Delara delivered one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Vancouver. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was warm, attentive and unpretentious, and the gentleman who introduced us to the pomegranate margarita deserves a special mention. That drink alone could convert anyone into a regular.
