Lovely little shop, one man show of a aunty from Heilongjiang who makes authentic dumplings with a passion. The fact that the dining room feels quite empty and is overlit might turn off some but please go past that! Wide menu of filling, ask her for recommendations!
The dumplings are absolutely delicious and fresh. The lady here was very friendly, and she was doing everything from cooking to serving. There is a bit of a wait for your food, but that’s because she’s making them fresh for you. We ordered the beef and cilantro, shrimp and chives, and pork and cabbage. Tasty dumplings from Northern China! The proprietor is so friendly and shares her love for the dumplings of she learned to make while growing up in Harbin. Dumplings can be ordered in dishes of 12 or 18 pieces, and cooked either fried, steamed or boiled. There are a few side dish options. I chose the wood ear and cucumber salad, which was crunchy and tasty! All dumplings are also available frozen to cook at home for 15% discount.
