Excellent food, and a great atmosphere indeed as I usually come here from time to time. However, the wait takes some time. Even when a confirmed reservation, we still had to apperently wait for our RESERVED TABLE. That's why the service is a bit on the downside. Otherwise, the food is a pleasant but the time may make you rethink if you'd still like to line up.

Although some reviews mention rude service, it is noted that the staff may often be short-staffed during peak hours. Patience and kindness are appreciated, and many guests choose to tip well.
While there have been issues with certain orders, such as the crabs in cream sauce over noodles being dryer than expected, the food remains delicious. The beef sliced porridge is particularly praised for its large portion. Overall, Congee Noodle King offers tasty food, but both service and management could use improvement.
