Great congee

Robert L

Very HK style congee noodle restaurant. Standard, can't go wrong type. Definitely a place to just eat in/out quickly if you crave hk style food and move on to doing other stuff. Don't expect too much service, never a greeting from the male servers, have to approach them all the time for sitting, the ladies are nicer. Again, I'm there for food, not for service. I'd pay my 12% tip, that's just because I won't let 1 bad egg ruin it for the others.

Parking: Lots of parking, just depends on the time. There's also a T&T there so it makes it slightly busier

The service from the people who run the place is terrible, I only went for a simple order of rice to eat at home and it was a TERRIBLE experience. I asked one of the people who runs the place and she just rolled her eyes and sent me to another place where there was no one, the food was very good but I would never go to that place again.

Good family restaurant, clean, large place with many big tables and cubicles. You can have choices or Cantonese style food, wonton mie, and even Peking duck, king crab, seafood. Good variety and good cooking

We got seated and besides rhe fact it was extremely dirty. We waited for 15 minutes and no one helped us. We raised our hand a few times and the one server kept serving other tables snd was also cashier. We ended up just walking out and no one even noticed.

The food is good. It's quiet and there isn't much to see (beyond the TVs with the sound off) so good if you want to chat. Parking lot is small & tight + there are several restaurants in the plaza. Staff are friendly enough and food comes out hot and in reasonable time.

Parking: The lot is small and tight to maneuver at certain spots so it can be quite difficult during weekends & holidays.

I have been ordering from East One for about 2-3 years. I really enjoyed the consistency with the taste of their food. I don't know if it's bad luck, laziness or so but my order today from East One was very careless. I don't know if it's the change of cook or a new cook training but my tofu which is worth $20ish dollars was undercooked, and my fried rice was smelly and moist. Hm!

I went there to get beef hor fun . The man that took the order said "no tip?" I said "not for take out". Three hours later I threw it up. Btw I eat this style of food all the time both here and in Hong Kong and China. never had this reaction from this food before.
