Came here for my husbands birthday. We got the bison board. Overall, great quality and happy with the food and service.

We went for breakfast and were disappointed. The food was very mediocre. Sourdough bread that came with breakfast was really just white bread. The turkey sausage special breakfast came in a small skillet and was disappointedly cold. The only hot sauce options were tobasco!

When I want to have dinner at a place other than the usual chain restaurants, I go to Forage. They have a sustainable dining philosophy, and while a few restaurants claim this as well, Forage is the only one that can actually back it up, as the quality of their food is always impeccable. At the time I went with my girlfriend, they were having a 3 Course Special, which we both got, since it was way cheaper than buying everything a la carte. The tuna, oysters and beef carpaccio appetizers were all plated like works of art, and they tasted even better.I decided against my usual steak to try out their Bison Cheeks while my girlfriend requested the Gnocchi, which is one of her favorite dishes.I will say that the Cheeks were exceptionally soft, and they just melted in my mouth.  The Gnocchi also tasted wonderful, although, we did wonder if maybe they shortchanged us a bit as it was pushed all to one side for some reason.Dessert rounded out what was a very satisfying meal, as we were both stuffed. It's always a treat to come to Forage.  When I want a fine~dining experience, I know they'll always deliver.

Came here for brunch and have the nicest experience. Staff are really nice and attentive, they serve my food pretty fast I'm shocked because it was pretty busy. Highly recommend if you are searching for a brunch place!

Always wanted to try this place, sad to say it was a huge let down. We went for brunch, upon arrival we were told there is a time limit which was fine. But we didn’t expect it to take 20 min to get a mimosa ? This happened twice, it was not even busy. The serving staff seemed super confused. Our eggs Benny was run out to the table twice, they forgot which ones were poached soft ? So they took it back to the kitchen to clarify ? 15 min later they brought them out again and this other server was confused but assumed it was right ? We just ended up taking the food anyway since it had been so long. Food was cold at this point, we probably would have had double the drinks if it didn’t take so long for a simple mimosa. 20 min is long especially when it’s not busy. Also there was no line outside, and it was half empty so why remind us of the seating time limit ? Also maybe make sure the drinks come out fast ? I also paid in cash and made sure that was ok, server said it was fine but then said they had no bills left so he gave me hand fulls of toonies ? I would have paid by card if they let me know. Felt like the entire serving staff was new. Place has potential, maybe play some music too over brunch ?

The food is decent, quantity isn’t that much, but the pancakes were pretty good.. soft and fluffy but lacked overall flavour.. the ambiance of the place is really nice though.make sure you make a reservation this place can get full..

We came here for brunch and left pretty disappointed. Service was very slow despite it being pretty empty - waited nearly 30 minutes to get our bill after we finished eating. The food was all pretty bland and lacked flavour, and the prices were pretty expensive. The location is really good and the restaurant is really nice.We had heard lots of great things about this place but we were definitely let down. Probably won’t be returning.

We came to Forage and were excited to try the food. The server was very welcoming and attentive. We got some oysters to share, as well as a clam chowder with prawn toast. The clam chowder was quite small for the price and they put the prawn toast inside the soup. I was hoping they would put it on the side so it wouldn’t get soggy, but the flavor of the prawn toast was delicious. We got the bison board and it looked amazing - but some of the items on there fell short. The carpaccio and brussels sprouts tasted amazing. The chili was unfortunately cold and the flavor wasn’t great. Some of the meat were tender but others were quite chewy. The ribs were meaty but we found it had way too much BBQ sauce.

If this isn’t some of the best breakfast you’ve ever had then I don’t know what it is… the location is tasteful, bright and has a friendly staff! But food is to die for. Without a doubt their French toast is some of the best food I’ve ever tried! Get

I’m dissatisfied with the service. The seating arrangement was cramped, causing confusion about where to put our coats until we asked a staff. My drink and water remained empty, and no one checked on it after the main dishes were served. The sweet potato was excellent, the beef was okay, but overall, I found the other dishes lacking in taste.

The place is good, the service from the staff is very good. I think they could have a little more variety on their menu. What the place has is that they open super early at 7:00am and that helps when you have to go somewhere early. I only tried the breakfasts
