PLEASE for the love of the LORD eat at this restaurant. It was my first time eating Ethiopian food and I’m hooked.

The kitfo and lamb wat were absolutely delicious, the flavours truly explode in your mouth! Friendly staff as well!

It was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and healthy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone else.

This review is only about the service at this restaurant.

We went here hungry at around 8:20 PM and the restaurant was quite empty. Just one table was occupied and there was no one to help us get a table. So, we waited at the door for a few minutes and then we walked inside near the counter, hoping to get someone's attention. 10 minutes later, we were still waiting and no one had even stepped to the counter to attend to us.

An online order came in and to attend that, a lady came to the counter from the kitchen. Even though she saw us, she just worked on her tab to handle the buzzing from the order and then without even acknowledging us, she just waltzed right back to the kitchen. Since we had already waited for about 15 minutes, my wife and I decided to make it count and wait for a few minutes with the hope that someone will finally help us with a table or take our order. We even called the restaurant to report that we were waiting at the counter to be seated but to no avail. No one answered our call. After waiting for about 25 minutes, we decided to cut our losses and walked out of the restaurant still hungry and very disappointed with the way the restaurant staff had ignored us without even asking us to be seated.

After we left the restaurant, some 15 minutes or so later, a restaurant staff called back my number saying they had a missed call. I told them that we had waited for 25 mins in their restaurant but we never got attended to and we had to then leave still hungry and disappointed. They apologized for their service (or the lack of it) but honestly it was a bit too late. I don't really get how this restaurant is still running with this level abject disregard to paying customers. Truly baffling and disappointing service!

First type trying Ethiopian food and got to experience so many unique flavours. Their platters had a great variety of authentic dishes. Highly recommend trying them out and surprising yourself!
