The food is not very satisfying. The service is very weak and slow.
The washroom is not fun to use.
For Ethiopian food don't recommend here. There are couple within 5min away so try them and see the difference.

Loved the gojo combo with Beef Key Wat. Especially loved the Gomen which I believe is collard green? The beef is a bit too spicy for me but they gave us enough bread to even the spicy out. The lady working there was so nice to us as well. 10/10 experience.

Wonderful little restaurant! Gluten free options (using teff as a base) taste great! A bit more expensive than I thought but well worth it! Will come back!

My friend and I shared a 2-person veggie combo platter. We had lots of leftovers! The dishes had a nice range of spice levels and flavours.

The experience we had here was a good experience, but having had a long history of eating Ethiopian food we rate this place a three star. Nothing wrong with the food at all, there’s just a lot of competition out there.

I love this place. My first time trying Ethiopian was here, about 12/13 years ago, and I keep coming back because it's the best. Incredible value for money and so delicious. If you've never had Ethiopian food, you are missing out and you need to go here to try it. It has some similar spices to Indian food, but used differently and with a whole host of unique Ethiopian spices as well.
You can have a really satisfying vegetarian meal, but they have fantastic meat dishes if you're so inclined. The staff are always very friendly, and I'm sad when my leftovers are gone (because did I mention the portions are large?)
I shared the platter for 2 with my partner, walked a couple of blocks and ate it in Trout Lake park. Just perfect, no utensils required. 😆 We both had our fill and still had another entire meal's worth (for each of us!) to take home.

I had a great time! The food was delicious and portion sizes were incredibly generous for the affordable price. The atmosphere was lovely, and everyone who worked here was incredibly welcoming and kind! I can’t wait to be back, and I recommend that everyone give it a try!
