“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

The husband-and-wife team creates a genuinely warm, welcoming, and personable dining experience that keeps me coming back. Their service is consistently kind, attentive, and sincere, and I always feel welcomed upon every visit.
The quality of the food is excellent, with beautiful presentation and careful attention to detail. It’s clear that they take pride in every dish they serve and maintain a high standard of quality and consistency.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is the combination of outstanding food and heartfelt hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so genuinely appreciated as a customer.

“I originally ordered duck liver and duck collarbone, but somehow the lady at the counter ended up giving me duck gizzards instead. The gizzards were a bit on the tough side — not exactly what I was expecting. As for the duck collarbone, it had a nice balance between soft and firm, and there was just the right touch of spiciness to keep things interesting. I was a little disappointed about the mix-up, but overall, the flavor was still pretty satisfying.“
