Great place! They have variety of dim sum. Cheaper than other places and delicious!! I often stop by here during my bike ride and the dim sum recharges my batteries...

Solid spot for affordable eat-in and takeaway dim sum, stocking all the classics. I stop by here to fill up my freezer with frozen quick meals - the chicken sticky rice is particularly good.

Would be 3-stars purely on food, but incredible prices easily bump this to 4.We tried:1x BBQ pork bao1x jumbo "combo" bao1x large lotus leaf rice w/ sausage and meat4x mushroom potstickers4x shrimp dumplings1x deep-fried pork rice ballAnd all that was like $22!The standout was the mushroom dumplings. Those were legit excellent and 5-stars on their own. Lotus leaf was above average with more meat than you normally get. The BBQ pork bao and shrimp dumplings were fine, while the deep-fried pork pork rice ball (greasy and a bit off flavor-wise) and "combo" bao (basically a big, grisly chicken meatball) were both disappointing. With all that said, we'll definitely be back for the amazing mushroom dumplings, if nothing else. (Only really 2 things we wouldn't re-order.) We also got some frozen xiao long bao (soup dumplings) to take home and try later.

Absolutely fantastic. Worth a visit and buy some to take home! Food is already warm and ready to eat. Small menu perfectly executed.

We were expecting a dim sum restaurant where they wheel the cart with the dim sum on it. This place has dim sum hot and ready to go. They do have a few seats to enjoy the dim sum but most people buy and go. We were able to find a few chairs and a table to eat but no tea or drink. The pork bean curd was the best one. They make the dim sum and freeze them seems like the locals buy them frozen and take them home to make at home. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were friendly. All in all pretty delicious minus one star for no tea or the whole dim sum experience with the rolling carts

Baos for days! Perfect place at a reasonable price for hot and fresh dim sum and some other special items for the Lunar New Year in 2024! Would recommend you go there, definitely worth the queue on like big holidays as the staff are attentive and very efficient

My daughter’s school did a fundraising with Kam Wai Dim Sum and it was brilliant. I bought $130 worth of delicious dumplings and baos. We loved the mushroom dumplings and the vegetarian tofu wraps. Please have more vegetarian options.

Great little spot for some very reasonably-priced takeout dumplings and baos!
Hands-down, the best dim sum counter in Chinatown. We take everyone who comes to visit here.

I came across this restaurant while waiting for my turn in another restaurant's queue. I was intrigued by their products and the price point. I first ordered their siew mai and loved it! I ended up trying more items from their menu and completely canceled my reservation in another restaurant. This is such a fantastic hole in the wall! - PT

Glad these guys are around. Their frozen dim sum that you can take home is traditional and tasty, as it should be. What is also nice is that they keep the prices low to help the low-income and seniors in the area, making this affordable and accessible for everyone.Highly recommend it if you want a quick bite without getting gouged by all the high restaurant prices everywhere else in the city.

Easily one of the best dim sum places in the area. I eat wayyyy too many bbq pork buns, they are so good and always hit the spot. The mushroom dumplings & siu mai are also super yum.

The taste is okay. Especially the shrimp.
