45min wait for food. The food was okay-ish but definitely not 40+ minute wait. Just go somewhere else.
We had our wedding reception here, let me start off by saying the manager/owner was so sweet, she and her husband were so quick to confirm that we could hold our wedding here. KOS Waffles by Waffleland Café offers a delightful selection of delicious and flavorful waffles, including the traditional sweet and vegan chicken wafflewich options. The friendly staff provides helpful recommendations, and the unique heart-shaped waffles with caramelized cinnamon, powdered sugar, and whipped cream are a must-try. Vegetarian and non-dairy options are also available. Customers describe the café as a cute and cozy little spot, with warm and fresh waffles, and portion sizes that are quite nice. The staff is praised for their attentive service, even during busy times. The café's unique decor, featuring chibi vikings, and the unexpected soundtrack choices, add to the overall quirky and memorable experience. Visitors often return for multiple waffles, noting the variety and quality of the flavors. The traditional waffle, prepared quickly by Sakib with locally sourced ingredients, is especially loved, with many describing it as delicious and special. The waffles are rich, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, with toppings like Brie cheese and salmon offering additional tasty options. Though not highly Instagrammable, the waffles are considered better than those at other well-known downtown spots, made with love by the staff, making it a highly recommended place to enjoy a flavorful breakfast or treat.
