One of the best restaurants in Vancouver!The servers were always friendly and smiling. They did an excellent job in balancing orders among all the tables. I never felt like my table was forgotten and I did not have to wait too long for my food to arrive.They have many delicious dishes, but I enjoyed the regular fried chicken the most! They were very crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside, not to mention they were perfectly seasoned. Given the large number and size of the chicken, I definitely got my money's worth!

For 2 people to share, get a regular fried chicken and large mogu salad. Chicken stays crispy throughout the meal. Jumbo size would be good for 3-4 people and is way too much food for 2.

Mogu sets the standard for which I compare all other restaurants... And none I've been to have lived up to Mogu. The best friend chicken I've had, delicious sauces and salads. Absolutely try this place if you haven't before!

I felt like the food was too hyped up like i had the mogu fried chicken teishoku but there was really nothing special about the mogu fried chicken to be honest. I had better japanese kaarage at other japanese restaurants. I did like their ebi katsu though and side dishes that came with the teishoku. The restaurant is quite small and they took away one of our tables WHILE we were eating so the next guests could be seated... which was really awkward and never ever happened to us while eating at any other restaurants in the past. They just kept looking around to see who would be the next group of people to leave so the next guests could be seated. It was so uncomfortable. I ate at many other japanese restaurants before but I've never experience anything like this previously. From my personal experience, I wouldnt go back there again and plus I felt that the food was overpriced.

Called to order only $43 for the couple pack and some fries. The mogu salad was so good- it had actual veggies, not just leafs. Chicken was good quality white meat, crispy and juicy inside. 2 people and we have leftovers. It was ready in 10 mins.

Delicious and affordable Japanese fried chicken. The mogu salad is delightful. An entire teishoku meal ringing in just around 20$, you really can’t go wrong. Staff are super friendly and serve with professionalism and care. The music is a bit repetitive consisting of continuous corny smooth lounge pop covers, but hey, the food is good enough ya kind of just laugh about it. A recommendable spot on the the north end of the drive!Ps: highly recommend the aonori fries!
