A very nice cafe for enjoying desserts and getting some work done. The atmosphere is comfortable, making it easy to relax with a laptop or just unwind with friends. Desserts are tasty and well-presented, and the drinks pair nicely. A solid choice if you’re looking for a sweet treat and a cozy spot to spend some time.

Great little cozy place for dessert! Came here after having dinner at Kook. We ordered the Tiramisu Bingsoo and 3 Taiyakis (matcha, red bean, and custard). If you're not into desserts that are too sweet, than this will be ok for you. The bingsoo had a surprising gentle crunch to add to the texture, tasted like corn flakes. The Taiyakis were fresh and also had a bit of a crust on the outside, but inside was moist.

are you kidding me 😭 I ordered a take out injeolmi bingsoo and it was already so good but when I hit the bottom, I did not expect corn flakes but that was such a pleasant surprise. Especially because by the time I hit the bottom, the last bit was melted and it was just like eating cereal and milk. 5/5

The bingsoo here is incredible. If you are feeling adventurous, the tiramisu bingsoo is a delight.

Leaving a solid 5 out of 5 stars! What I love most about Frosty Dessert Cafe is that it’s open until 11 or even midnight—such a rare find in Vancouver where most dessert spots close early. If you’re looking for a late-night hangout that serves quality desserts, this place should definitely be on your must-try list.

Their bingsu is the highlight: generous in portion (easily sharable between 3–4 people) and made with authentic flavors that really hit the spot. Alongside that, they offer a great variety of sweets—from macarons to cookies and cakes—so there’s something for every kind of dessert lover.

Practical points: there’s a parking lot available, so finding a spot isn’t an issue. However, due to the limited space inside, I wouldn’t consider it very toddler- or wheelchair-friendly—strollers and wheelchairs may find it difficult to maneuver.

Overall, Frosty Dessert Cafe stands out not just for its authentic flavors but also for being a rare late-night dessert option in the city. Perfect for night owls or anyone craving a sweet treat after dinner!

A nice local spot spot bingoo and taiyakis. Their bingsoo’s are one size (compared to other shops we’ve been to which have options for regular or large) and are great for sharing or can be eaten solo.

We tried a few of their taiyakis - which are more like mini taiyakis but are still packed with flavour.

Average shaved ice for almost 20 dollars. Not as much sauce as other places that serve similar shaved ice for 10 dollars. The bottom was almost all ice and it’s not particularly fluffy or anything. Vancouver prices hoo boy

Solid bingsu/Korean dessert spot in the area. Comparable quality to other places, so it’s great if you don’t want to drive all the way to Broadway for Passion8 or to Coquitlam for Sulbing. Prices are reasonable. I initially thought the portions were small, but once the order arrived, it felt perfect for two to share, especially after a full dinner when you just want something refreshing.

We got the classic injeolmi bingsu, but they offer many other flavors and menu items beyond bingsu, so I’d definitely come back to try more. One thing I like here is that the shaved ice is mixed with condensed milk beforehand, so the flavor is consistent throughout. Some places just give you condensed milk on the side, which can leave certain bites bland if you don’t mix well.

**they open until midnight during summer

The watermelon in the Bingsoo tasted fermented and wasn’t fresh, so I couldn’t eat it.

Yummy Korean dessert, with a delicious combination of flavors, with fruit and ice cream.

Not sure how I never tried this place earlier but I am addicted. I have probably have bingsoo here at least 6-7 times this month and it’s so cool that every layer the flavours bet better and better.

Too expensive for such small portion (bingsu). The quality is not even good. Pearls were terrible. Matcha was the worst i’ve ever tried. Not sure why they have high ratings?
