I had 20 minutes before my visit to the cat cafe next door and I was hungry. The waitress was confident in telling me they could accommodate that fast timing and was just as quick to provide me with safe gluten free options. Within 8 minutes I had a plate of vermicelli and lemongrass chicken in front of me. It was piping hot and correctly textured; no corners cut to get it to me on time. And it tasted delicious! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
Sorry, no time for photos, but it included salad and dipping broth.

Local hole in the wall spot for traditional Vietnamese food. Huge selection of dishes not normally found, but fantastic portions at unbeatable prices. Their bun bo hue is one of the best in the city, highly recommend!

I remember this location from back in the early 2000’s. I have been away from Vancouver for a while and just came back. Drove by this place and remembered that I use to eat here a lot and it was really good. I Actually lived in Nha Trang for 2 months last year and thought it was serendipitous. Who knows how many times this place has changed owners but I remember this place being 1/3 of the size it is now. Looked like a lot of parties happen here with the karaoke machine and all. We came during lunch and felt the place is not the cleanest. One 1 lady cooking and serving and she was overwhelmed. She needs more support! The food was very average to me and I question the sanitary conditions in the kitchen. I’m not one to complain on here but I feel I need to keep it honest. Hope this place can level up and turn it back to how I remembered it. Food focused and family ran with pride.

The reviews for this place are puzzling. They're so polarized that they don't read as if they're describing the same place. Well, here's my take. I live in the neighborhood and often get on and off at the bus stop in front of the restaurant. I'd been curious about it for months. The Ethiopian spot next door is quite good. Usually I get pho a couple blocks West at Thai Son. The place is puzzling. It's big. Perhaps 20+ tables. One guy working there on a Sunday evening around 7PM. We were the only customers the entire time we were there. Huge menu. The place smelled like old, unwiped food surfaces and there may have been a hint of something worse. We ordered pho and pork chops with rice. Both were fine, but not good. veggies were not fresh, rice noodles were chewy. Rare steak was actually well-done. Hard to imagine how this place stays in business, considering the breadth of the menu and the lack of customers. I do not recommend it. Lots of better options within a 5 minute walk.

Stopped in because it’s the closest Vietnamese spot to home. Sad to say, this is some of the lowest quality Vietnamese food I’ve tried. The broth was had a strange, sweet earthy flavour and the noddles were mushy and tasted ashy. To their credit, the price to portion size is solid. Unfortunately it just doesn’t make up for the lack of quality ingredients, dark and musty ambiance, and subpar service of the restaurant. Will not be returning any time soon.

I had this place for lunch and the beef noodle soup was really good. I ordered the number 24 with a side of Coke. It was really good. The noodles were really good nice texture and everything. I’ll definitely come back here again.

After reading a review about the curry beef brisket noodles, I just had to try it. There's plenty of parking all around. From the looks on the outside it doesn't look like much, which is fine because that never discourages me.

When you enter there's alot of room inside. It looks as if this place was a European buisness at one point? Grecko style pillars and arches, coffee pictures, and a out of service ice cream case... Anyhoo, we're here for the food!
My friend orders the beef pho. It's good here. I order number 36, the curry beef brisket soup with egg noodle.
Wow... It's savory and I love the flavors in it. It's a touch oily so I just scooped out the oil to another bowl. Didn't bother me at all. They were generous in the meat for the large bowl I ordered.

Portions are good. The food is tasty. I'd come back again and try other items. Great place in the neighbourhood.

Best bahn Mi around. $6 for a delicious, warm, toasted bahn mi! Blows the other spot across the road out of the water and is everything they’d like to be.I will be back. Authentic, exceptionally priced, and great friendly service. Awesome Viet coffee too.

Quite a dingy environment. But the pho wasn't cheap, and I really think not good enough overall.
