Very disappointed with Paul Bakery. My order was incomplete and two items were raw. I contacted their Robson Street location several times with no reply from management. Terrible customer service experience.
Food was delicious, our waitress Fatima was gorgeous and so friendly. Would recommend and come back again in a heartbeat
Great coffee and kind baristas

Paul Bakery, Café and Restaurant offers a wide range of delectable desserts and a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and the signature Waffle Chicken meal, which is a customer favorite. The bakery is known for its tasty Almond croissant and popular drinks like latte and London fog. The staff provide a pleasant dining experience, and the menu features high-quality pastries, including the chocolate and pistachio croissant, which is a take on baklava with a crumbled pistachio filling, and the white chocolate and rose flavored croissant. Recently, customers have enjoyed trying the new blackberry moon dessert, which received high praise for its exceptional taste. The café's ambiance is described as pleasant and intimate, making it a great place for brunch. The décor is often praised as magazine-worthy, creating a very attractive setting.
Customers have commented that the desserts look impressive and are well presented, although the actual taste can sometimes vary. For example, the peppermint mocha is fairly tasty, while the cotton candy iced mocha, which looked nothing like advertised, had little flavor aside from mocha powder. The pistachio strawberry white chocolate macaroon was decent but not outstanding, and some found the apple cream dessert to be overly sweet, sticky, and difficult to eat, seemingly made more for presentation than for eating. However, the overall experience remains positive, especially with items like the iced Pistachio Chocolate Shake, which many find amazing.
While the ambiance and presentation are highly appreciated, customers mention that wait times can be long, possibly due to busy staff who often appear stressed but remain polite. The place tends to be crowded, especially during peak hours, so arriving early is recommended if meeting someone. Despite some inconsistencies in taste and the occasional long wait, Paul Bakery continues to attract many visitors who enjoy its chic decor, high-quality pastries, and delightful desserts like the Waffle Chicken meal.
