Pax Romana Reviews
My favorite bar on the drive for a cosy yet cool vibe. Great happy hour, Great drinks, great food (especially the Thai chili chocolate Basque cheesecake and the gambas).
Excellent service, very good sommelier.
Incredible food, atmosphere and service! Our server Prateek had a vast knowledge of wines and was very charismatic. The chef is a wizard. Each dish we tired featured a unique combination of flavours that elevated classics like salmon cruado to a new level. Thanks for a great experience! Deserves multiple Michelin stars 💮💮
This was a happy accident.
My mum and I were actually drawn to the place because of the nice front door, and because it was just after 5pm when we arrived (the first time) it felt like we treated as royalty by the attentive and encyclopedic Praheet.

Pax Romana is a charming spot with a cozy vibe and a European feel. The drinks are solid, and the service is fantastic, making it a great place for a date night or a special occasion. The food offers standout dishes like cured tuna, pintxo, tartar, gildas, and tortilla. However, the space can get smoky due to inadequate ventilation. While the set menu may disappoint some with small portions and long wait times, the cocktails remain a highlight. The chefs' selection, particularly during Justin's pop-up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, showcases unique dishes such as sunflower seed miso soup, koshihikari rice, and an incredibly crispy pork jowl. The changing menu is delicious and always on point, providing a fine dining experience on The Drive. For those who want to indulge, the 12-course option is recommended, along with the option to order a la carte or the 7-course meal. Overall, Pax Romana continues to impress with its exquisite tastes and excellent service.
