When I went to the back entrance of the store, the store was under construction. When I encountered the owner (?) and asked him about it, he told me that the kitchen was closed and I couldn't order. It should be written as temporary closure.

No fuss, authentic food. My husband always orders the chicken biryani and the chicken is tender and juicy. I have tried the butter chicken curry and naanitos. Classic taste, and the naanitos version is unique! Will be back to try other items.

We had the mixed grill! The food was full of authentic Indian spices! We will probably come back here again to try other dishes.
We ordered 4 dishes and I requested kindly "No spicy" so when the Samosas arrived we tried them and were spicy hot and was soggy for the sauce that was served on top, so when the main food arrived I mentioned that all the dishes were spicy so the lady brought me some cream and we add it to some of the dishes but they were still spicy. Unfortunately my children couldn't eat any dish except the garlic bread. So is not kid friendly in that regard. The food is tasty if you are okay with spicy foods.

Good location, good service. Empty when we went for lunch. Menu is run of the mill North Indian - nothing to set it apart. Promptly attended to upon arrival, ordered a Vegetarian Thali (Naan, Rice, a dry Salad , Paneer Makhani, and Dal Makhani) , a Deluxe Chicken Thali (Same as above, except sweetish Butter Chicken instead of the Paneer), a Paneer Makhani Rice Bowl, a Butter Chicken Rice Bowl, Mango Lassi, and three Indian Chais. Food arrived promptly and was nothing spectacular in looks or taste. Curry dishes were devoid of any vegetables or garnishing and were all uniformly Orange/Brown. Not sure why such high ratings from others - dined at Indian restaurants all over the world, and this one is run of the mill. Nothing too bad, but nothing spectacular either. Rotis/Naans/homemade Gulab Jamuns stood out for their respective tastes, however. Lunch for four set us back CAD 91 (including 18% tip). Pricey for lunch, considering what was on offer.
Best food ever! The spicy chicken tikka masala and garlic basil naan were amazeballs. I'd have to fly to India or London to find anything that compares.
