“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“Great pizza with some unique topping/flavor combinations. Their pizza by the slice are cut into sixth so they're larger than some other places. Staff are super friendly and I was greeted with a smile each time I was there. Prices are reasonable and they have deals online/in store. Takeout is the way to go as the place is tiny with only a few seats and a counter inside. The place can be hard to find as it's sandwiched between a Starbucks and Subway. There's around 10 parking spots out front.“

“This was a wonderful restaurant for me and my boyfriend to go to for valentines day. The atmosphere was nice and dim-lit but it wasn't too fancy where we felt out of place. We were sat next to the fireplace which was beautiful and they had the olympics playing in the back on TV's! The location in Granville island and on the water is perfect for a date. Our waiter was named Yevhen and he was absolutely wonderful! He seemed to always be there when we needed him, was incredibly kind and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food came so unbelievably quick, I was so impressed. I got the Raspberry Crush cocktail which was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Amazing food, service and location. “We found this cafe in the late afternoon of a Saturday. We needed an energy boost after walking around Granville Island. We go to Granville Island quite often, but we have never been to this side and have never noticed this cafe.

We ordered a coffee, a cookie and a tart. Everything tasted great, but they were priced towards the higher range.

The interior design looked good, too. However, towards the closing hours, the cafe might not look its best in terms of tidiness. There was a lady having a video cal behind me, and she was quite loud. She also played her hair at the same time, so much so that her hands touched my head a few times, which was quite annoying. Not the fault of the cafe, though. Perhaps if the chair was not placed so close to me, it could have helped.

In a higher end cafe like this, I did not expect people being loud like that. However, I am not a regular to cafes, so I do not have an idea of how people normally behave.“

We had reservations but still had to wait for a table to be cleaned even though restaurant was quite empty. The appetizers were just average. Our mains - pasta and pizza were amazing!!!! The restaurant itself is a nice bistro style. They are almost there!“

“The location of this restaurant is very convenient. The exterior of the restaurant is good. The interior feels like a home. The food feels like home cooked. Not bad! Too much vegetables on the a la carte menus, and I think donburi would suit me better. The rice on the salmon maki tastes too dry, and the seaweed was chewy instead of dry & crispy. I would stick with cooked food & deep fried items.“

“Had the sher meat poutine and wow was it delicious!! The size was surprising to say the least. I'm a big guy and had trouble finishing it all. Everything in it was super fresh. The onion rings on the other hand were not great. They could maybe use a little shaker seasoning as I found them somewhat bland and flavorless. All in all this was a great place to eat, price was fair for the portion size and would definitely eat here again.“

I had the pear and walnut salad with the belly pork and was not disappointed. We had the burrata and prosciutto starter but didn't get the chance to take a pic as it was devoured 😋 the pizzas are like Sicilian pizzas light full of flavour and prepared with love. I didn't get to try the mac and cheese that was gone in seconds but my nephew loved it and asked to come back with us ❤️ I had a brownie that had all the indulgence of a brownie but so light, hubby had Mandarin sorbet which delivered on every note, nephews had tiramisu and lemon mousse and that didn't touch the sides. Although ownership has changed over the years the food and service have only gotten better. We love Kelly our sever. She is always upbeat, cheerful and funny. Tastes like they use the best ingredients, from 00 flour, to the best cheeses, sauces and toppings.
I was walking by and saw the bubbly beautiful crust, then saw a customer take a bite with a cheese pull! So thought I'd try it out, and I was amazed. Perfect neopolitan style pizza, with chewy dough and just enough thickness to not completely flop over, and is the perfect dough to topping ratio, you will not be disappointed.
Please treat yourself to a great pizza from this gem.

“A favourite bar in Vancouver for light snacks & aperitifs. Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen. All the food & beer on tap is good, and you can also order from the restaurant menu. The atmosphere & service of this bar takes Barra the next levrl. Highly recommended and worth the trip to karisdale. Happy hour specials are offered daily from 3 - 5 PM.“

“Nothing fancy but the sandwich was good. Good bread, everything tasted fresh, we didn’t have to wait too long for the food and there were plenty of empty tables when we arrived. Only thing to note is that the meat portion was quite small on it (as I see other people mentioned in reviews) and it isn’t the cutest or coziest place to eat in but it does the job.“
