“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!“

“Great pizza with some unique topping/flavor combinations. Their pizza by the slice are cut into sixth so they're larger than some other places. Staff are super friendly and I was greeted with a smile each time I was there. Prices are reasonable and they have deals online/in store. Takeout is the way to go as the place is tiny with only a few seats and a counter inside. The place can be hard to find as it's sandwiched between a Starbucks and Subway. There's around 10 parking spots out front.“

“We found this cafe in the late afternoon of a Saturday. We needed an energy boost after walking around Granville Island. We go to Granville Island quite often, but we have never been to this side and have never noticed this cafe.

We ordered a coffee, a cookie and a tart. Everything tasted great, but they were priced towards the higher range.

The interior design looked good, too. However, towards the closing hours, the cafe might not look its best in terms of tidiness. There was a lady having a video cal behind me, and she was quite loud. She also played her hair at the same time, so much so that her hands touched my head a few times, which was quite annoying. Not the fault of the cafe, though. Perhaps if the chair was not placed so close to me, it could have helped.

In a higher end cafe like this, I did not expect people being loud like that. However, I am not a regular to cafes, so I do not have an idea of how people normally behave.“

“Their menu is the perfect size. Not so much to pick form that you can't decide. The food is not heavily seasoned which is great in my opinion. I was a bit annoyed that the waitress didn't tell us the pasta special, only the pizza one, as I would have chosen that over what I had. I overheard the waiter at the table next to us mention the pasta specail after we had already ordered. No biggies as my dish was delicious. It was a bit dark for reading the menu. This was my second time and will be back. It is very conveniently located within walking distance to the QE theater, perfect for show nights.“

Too much vegetables on the a la carte menus, and I think donburi would suit me better. The rice on the salmon maki tastes too dry, and the seaweed was chewy instead of dry & crispy. I would stick with cooked food & deep fried items.“

“The service was really nice, the restaurant is a little small and there is often lineup. The $10 deal during September was really good value!! There is not much beef but it was very tasty and the quantity of noodles is a lot! Also they have garlic chips and other vinegar/oil to add. They were out of melon sofa so I got calpico soda and it had a lemon in it so u was surprised but it was pretty good! Not much ice cream in it though. There is a free ice cream at the end if you sign up for a free membership.“

“The food here is exceptional melt in the mouth beef Short ribs with polenta, all of us tried it and wished we'd ordered it too! I had the pear and walnut salad with the belly pork and was not disappointed. We had the burrata and prosciutto starter but didn't get the chance to take a pic as it was devoured 😋 the pizzas are like Sicilian pizzas light full of flavour and prepared with love. I didn't get to try the mac and cheese that was gone in seconds but my nephew loved it and asked to come back with us ❤️ I had a brownie that had all the indulgence of a brownie but so light, hubby had Mandarin sorbet which delivered on every note, nephews had tiramisu and lemon mousse and that didn't touch the sides. We really can't wait to come back to Sprezzatura they made us feel so welcome with a relaxed service“

“Had the sher meat poutine and wow was it delicious!! The size was surprising to say the least. I'm a big guy and had trouble finishing it all. Everything in it was super fresh. The onion rings on the other hand were not great. They could maybe use a little shaker seasoning as I found them somewhat bland and flavorless. All in all this was a great place to eat, price was fair for the portion size and would definitely eat here again.“

Although ownership has changed over the years the food and service have only gotten better. We love Kelly our sever. She is always upbeat, cheerful and funny. “Visiting from out of thw country and we decided to eat here. It was pretty good, new to us. We tried the araq chicken wrap with garlic sauce 😋. Food was fresh and delicious. We also had the chicken shawarma pizza. Wow two good new food items.“

Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen. All the food & beer on tap is good, and you can also order from the restaurant menu. The atmosphere & service of this bar takes Barra the next levrl. Highly recommended and worth the trip to karisdale. Happy hour specials are offered daily from 3 - 5 PM.“

“Their ramen is delicious! Usually we don’t eat ramen because their soup base is always very salty. But we gave it a try and loved the soup which is perfect and the ramen is crunchy. The charsiu is also cooked well. I love their Hokkaido ice cream the best. Wednesday is free for members. That makes it even worth it to eat at this ramen restaurant.“
