Siegel's Bagels offers Montreal style bagels that are freshly prepared and warm, though some find them underwhelming compared to NY bagels. The lox and cream was decent, but not exceptional. The rosemary and rock salt bagels were a hit, especially with Montreal smoked meats. The bagels have a nice crust and chewy crumb, with a tangy flavor. The staff is attentive and keeps the line moving efficiently. Watching the wood-fired oven in action adds to the experience. Located in Granville Public Market, Siegel's Bagels is worth the wait for a delicious bagel treat.
