“Shayla, our server, was absolutely amazing! She explained the menu thoroughly and made excellent recommendations that we were glad to try. The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!“

“I was just here on may 5th 2024. this was the first time having a5 wagyu and it did not disappoint. the service was top notch the food was amazing. I will be back. please put the tomato bisque soup on the everyday menu.“

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

“The food and service were outstanding. After a long day of travel, the restaurant was a welcome rest. We sampled the prime rib, chicken wings, and wedge salad, all of which were tender and delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.“

“Impeccable food and service. We went to celebrate my brother's birthday, and the staff could not have been more accommodating, they were welcoming and extra attentive. The bison carpaccio delivered a rich, beefy umami burst. The 20oz Wagyu ribeye centre cut was incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with flavour. The lobster paired beautifully with the risotto, creating a perfect balance. Portions were generous, comfortably enough for three to share.“

“Decent authentic HK style food! We had 3 baked rice and spaghetti dishes, which were generous portions and tasty. And the beef stir fry on rice noodles was good too.
It was a bit slow because they didn't have many servers. And I would recommend eating earlier for lunch and dinner as parking is pretty limited.“

“We went there a large group and ran into an issue but we worked with the guest services manager Abigail, she was amazing and fixed our issue. Highly recommend going and will go back thanks to the personalization and human experience that was provided even when an issue arrived!“
