Despite some guests encountering unwelcoming attitudes from certain staff members, the overall atmosphere remains welcoming. The patio provides a good view, making it a nice place to see the beauty of Vancouver, especially on sunny days. The food, including the fish and chips, is generally good, though some feel it could be better. The gravy, however, receives special praise. The private dining area offers a good view for kids to watch boats, and the service makes visitors feel welcome. While there is room for improvement in some dishes, Tap & Barrel • Convention Centre remains a popular choice for a meal with a view before heading out to catch the ferry.
