The Templeton Reviews
We had such a great time. The service was excellent. Both our waitresses were lovely, smiling and so attentive.
The place is quite unassuming and it looks a bit rundown, but once you look past that, the experience is fabulous.
I ordered the peanut butter cup milkshake and that was delicious! It came with cream and a cup with the leftover that couldn’t fit in the glass. For food, I ordered the mangled eggs which is a croissant stuffed with scrambled eggs. OMG! This...read full review

Classic diner with great food. Excellent value.
Best diner I think I’ve ever been to. My partner and I ended our trip to Canada here and it didn’t disappoint! The Templeton offers a great dining experience with delicious food and friendly staff. The brunch menu features a variety of dishes, such as a mix of everything, which are all tasty. Their milkshake remains a highlight, with customers raving about the pb shake as a must-try. The atmosphere has a 1970's/sockhop vibe, with an old school diner decor that adds to its charm. Guests can enjoy huge portions of classic breakfast favorites, making it a satisfying spot for brunch. The restaurant is small, so arriving early helps avoid long lines, especially during busy times. The staff, including Tara, JC, Brendan, and Nikki, are super friendly and knowledgeable, providing good service and creating a cozy environment. Customers have enjoyed dishes like the mangled eggs, which is described as a loaded croissant on steroids, and popular choices like salmon eggs Benny, pancakes, huevos rancheros, and the soup of the day offer interesting flavors. With good value and hospitality, it's definitely worth the wait. Overall, The Templeton is a unique spot to dine and is sure to please, especially for those who appreciate vintage diners.
