Can't say enough about Uprising Breads Bakery! We travel across town to eat there at least once a week. Their soups are so good and the desserts are wonderful. Coffee is great, too. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
I was sold a very stale piece of chocolate cake. It is usually fabulous. Owner refused to do anything about it when I called. I had lots left to bring in to show him. He told me they sell it to the end of the 3rd day. The intense heat likely dried it out faster than normal. You would think a biz would be smarter than this?
