We went for lunch at this neighborhood restaurant, small place, limited seating. Our steamed small dragon dumplings, fried steamed pork buns (pre-cooked) and marinated beef noodle soup were just average, similar to cafeteria catering. Previously, the family run restaurant was much better and atmosphere was distinctly shanghainese. On this visit, it was noticably different and mediocre. At Wang's price point, there are better options.
Juuuicy dumplings! Both Xaiolongbao (小籠包) and pan fried pork bun (生煎包) had so much juice inside, almost impossible not to leak on yourself…..
Also tried dandan (担々麺) and Shanghai noodle (上海粗炒面) and both were very good.

Not exactly gourmet but solid satisfying supper! Small eatery in London drug plaza near Kingsway. Plenty of free parking spots. Popular at dinner time with often a lineup. Don’t take reservations. Cash...
A friend wanted dumplings, which chinese food places are not my forte, but I always see a lineup outside this place, so it was worth a try.

This small mom and pop shop is right outside the London Drugs and they share the same parking lot, so lots of parking.

We ordered:
Xiao Loong Bao - it was hot, but skin was thin, so easy to break. We knew it was fresh, as they had someone wrapping it by the window all night.
