The to go sandwiches at this particular location (Robson near Denman) are consistently not using enough ingredients in the sandwiches leading to dry sandwiches that leave you hungry after 20 minutes. -Tuna and chicken salad sandwich...paltry thin smear of tuna/chicken with a 3/4-1 inch of space between the edge of the tuna and the crust + a couple small pieces of lettuce and a small thin slice of tomato. - 1 or two small slices of turkey with minimal cheese, lettuce, and tomato. etc. Forgivable if they were only 3-4 bucks but the prices are between 7-8$. I consistently experience this at the Robson location vs other branches. The one on Cambie near Broadway I find always has a very generous amount of product in the sandwich. You can clearly even tell just by the weight alone. At least make them consistent between branches.
I don't drink coffee, but it smells awesome. Is that weird?
The service and environment here is very good

Good coffee and tea~ having Wonderful food
We got the turkey meatballs and spaghetti marinara and a salad; we will be dining in our hotel room and this was all microwavable (except for the salad, of course). Little did we know that the meatballs were done with a barbeque sauce which sort of clashed with the Italian sauce. All in all, the price was fair enough and the selection was ours to make (errors and all). Besides Urban Market, this was our second favorite ready-made, to-go choice for quickie meals.
This store is over priced but one good thing I like about this place is the quality of flowers and mostly the wrapping of the flowers Ms. Tina and Ms Fern do it for me each time. I am very happy with their kindness. Also, Ms. Mady the training manager helped me once to address an issue of other staff's bad attitude behaviour (I wish not mention the name of the staff, cause I believe everyone has bad days and good days and person's behaviour is bad somethings not the soul of the person) So I did not bother about staff's rude behaviour towards me. Special thank you to Ms. Tina and Fern for wrapping flowers with care and love. Thank you and god bless you all who works there.
Stressed looking employees , bad lightning, long line ups. Not good feeling about company ethics or values. Would much rather shop Canadian and promote Canadian values
1/5 for Coffee 4/5 for Muffins. It's just the coffee shop in the Whole Foods so I would not recommend going here unless you're buying groceries.
This location is my first favourite if them all. The chefs prepare pretty good food here, always fresh, wholesome and lots of variety. I like to pick up fresh organic fruits and veggies, then head over to the food bar to create my own dinner. Tonight, raisin, nuts and turmeric rice, roasted chicken, and braised cauliflower. Plus a carrot, celery, cucumber and coconut water smoothie. How perfect is that? Optimal nutrition and delicious to boot, convenience too. A fresh food market in the heart of a city of skyscrapers and construction.
The usual Whole foods market. Busy and right in the middle of downtown so handy for food to take to your nearby hotel.

I bought three roasted chicken from their deli at the Cambie location and came home and pressure cooked them for pulled chicken. I got terrible diarrhea from them for two weeks. This is the second time someone in my family got sick from their chicken, the first time it was my wife with a blackened chicken wrap from their fourth Avenue location. She vomited all night long and into the next morning...yuck!
Very good Grocery with good products, with organic vegetables and fruits but not all (American non-organic products, a little too many since Amazon became owner... apples, pears, carrots, cauliflowers etc from US !!! and not from BC in season .... The soups made at VANCOUVER for all whole food in the City of Vancouver, but the best of their soups has become unavailable, the Thai soup, on the other hand is sold the worst soup because I ate the mushroom soup, horrible no taste, no salt or pepper, only corn flour without any taste.
Had a cappuccino and cheese scone for breakfast. Really nice tasting and friendly staff. Nice out door area to sit out side and watch what happens go by on Robson Street.
Vegan power muffin
The most local draft beers available for sale you will ever see from a coffee shop! Great ambience and brew as well
