Great restaurant. Highly recommend it. Pricey a little bit with medium sized portions. Otherwise great!

We enjoyed our experience here at Yasma but the food can be better compared to the prices. The Kibbeh was cold when served, both the fried and the grilled. Overall the food was tasty and well made. The hummus was the next level with presentation and taste. Service was nice as well. I’m not a fan of very dark places, I wish there was more lights, especially on top of the table.

I had one of the worst dining experiences here. The portion size was shockingly small — it looked like a kid’s meal. I ordered Aleppo kebab, and for $35 all I got were two tiny skewers with no rice or side dishes. Side rice or bread is a basic part of Middle Eastern cuisine, so this was unbelievable. The meat was nothing special — the same quality you can find at many other restaurants, but those places give you triple the portion for half the price.

The service was just as bad. The server literally threw the dish in front of me, which was extremely disrespectful. At the end, instead of apologizing, another staff member started raising his voice at me.

I will never return, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you value good food, fair portions, and basic respect from staff.

The location and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic, and the customer service was great as well. They played instruments and added a warm sense of arabic music to the place.
I ordered the Lamb Burger with Fries, but unfortunately, I wasn’t happy with my choice. The burger was difficult to bite into, and the meat had a strong lamb scent and was extremely greasy. I felt uncomfortably heavy for hours after eating.
The price was relatively high compared to the portion size.

We tried a selection of appetizers and were very impressed with both the flavors and presentation. The Eggplant Mutabbal was creamy and well-balanced, with just the right amount of smokiness. The Muhammara was rich, slightly sweet, a definite standout.
The Yalandji (stuffed grape leaves) were served warm, which was a pleasant surprise. They were incredibly flavorful, they literally melted in your mouth. Easily one of the best versions we’ve had. The Fattoush Salad was fresh with a perfect mix of crisp vegetables and a tangy dressing that tied everything together. We also ordered a side of pita bread, which was soft, warm, and perfect for scooping up the dips :)
Overall, a beautifully balanced and satisfying start to the meal. Highly recommend ordering the full spread if you’re looking to experience a variety of bold and authentic Middle Eastern flavors.

Heavily Overpriced. I can explain.
I know we pay for experience nowadays more than the quality and quantity. I will address both.

Quality was top notch. Taste was really good. We preferred Muhammara, Bread, and some minced Lamb Kebab.

Quantity was really poor. The size of kebab was like kids size. I am sure there are people here who know how good North Van’s restaurants are when it comes to taste and quantity.

And I could not justify that I paid 120$ for the experience. The chairs were not comfy. The service was hurried up as if they wanted us to eat and leave as soon as possible.

Location maybe something that would entice tourists but as local I was not impressed by the location.

We had an amazing time at Yasma, a standout Lebanese restaurant in Vancouver. The food was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was memorable, and you can really taste the care that goes into the cooking.

Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is 100% there — and it’s not just about the food. The service was outstanding — every single staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. You really feel taken care of from start to finish.

The location is superb, and when you combine that with the food, service, and ambiance, you realize that what you're paying for is the whole experience, not just the meal.

Highly recommend trying Yasma at least once — it’s a place that truly delivers on all fronts!

I wouldn’t say this place is bad, but the prices are crazy. They have authentic foods such as kebab, yalanji, toshka. Most of these options come with a high price with such small portions. Place has a nice atmosphere with a nice view and an organised restaurant. We also waited 15 minutes for most of the food.
