Inside the public market on Granville island. I wanted to try a bunch of their specialty olives, so the lady made me a mixed package without any hassle. Everything was delicious. I wish I were in town longer, with a kitchen, so I could get some fresh pasta and make something with it! Maybe next time!

Always visit Zara’s when I go to Granville island for their fresh pasta. I had the egg pappardelle today- cooks in 1-2 min max. Was kind of disappointed with the bolognese sauce that was supposed to have meat in it but there was not much meat to speak of so that’s why 1 star less. My friend also said it was quite bland. They do have a variety of olives and cheeses, pesto, focaccia. All of that is very good. Overall a great place for Italian foods. Staff there are friendly. There is always a line up when I go.
Bought the crab&lobster ravioli, and the mushroom ravioli. Flavours 10/10, but I do find that the ravioli pasta sheets are a little thick. Honestly though, great place if you want fresh pasta and don't wanna make it yourself. Would recommend over and over again. The striped raviolis are especially beautiful.
Just came here for olives and so glad we got a variety for our day on the train! The pasta looked amazing but we opted out this time around.
The blue cheese stuffed olives were my favourite and the smoked assortment was my husbands favourite.
I got 5 servings of pasta, pesto and a small piece of cheese for $40. Quite expensive and not worth the price. The pesto was very very salty. Pasta was just ok.
They have amazing fresh pasta and sauces! I come to Granville island JUST to go to this store.

Love this place! They have the best pasta made in house so I can make meals at home with ingredients I like. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they often can suggest what sauce to go with the specific pasta, how to cook and pair them. Amazing! Just got a bottle of their balsamic vinegar and it’s pairs very well with burrata~
This is my third visit to Granville Island and I finally bit the bullet and bought the fresh pasta. The gnocchi and Campanelle were superb paired with the red pesto sause and the insalata caprese. Spent $20 and have left over pasta, sause and caprese salad!
