I hadn't been there for a while since I moved from the neighborhood. Went for a work dinner a couple of weeks ago. It was still great. I had a hard time deciding between my old favorites, but went with the Pierogi pizza. Still delicious! We had a great time, the food was delicious and our server was amazing!!! I truly miss living down the street from this gem❤️

i get irritated when people that come in after us get served before us and are halfway through their meal before our food arrives, and when i ask why i get spoken to like i'm some dimwit and told that some meals take longer to prepare than others. ok... so i ordered soup and chicken tenders and my partner had a salad. how does this take longer to prepare than burgers and poutine and onion rings? and why are they almost finished eating before our order shows up? was our order complicated somehow? take a ladle and put soup in a small bowl, throw chicken tenders in the fryer for a few minutes, put some salad on a plate. why are we waiting so long, and watching people that came in 10 minutes after us enjoying their meal?

Scored the prefect spot to warm up by the fire in the sunroom after a wet and windy walk. Tasty brunch, too! Homemade pastrami in the hash was a surprise hit.

We live in the area and frequent this spot regularly, take large groups of family and friends and have spent a decent amount at this local establishment. We recently had a really disappointing experience. We saw a mouse running all over the family dining area. It went on for several minutes. We told the host. No response so we told our server. She responded to us with “if you figure out a way to catch it let me know”. We lost our appetites with the mouse and the poor service. When asked if the meal was okay, I shared I had lost my appetite and she offered a to go box. Nothing was compted or offered. Even a quick apology would have been nice. We then waited a very long time after requesting the machine to pay and had to ask 3 different staff. We go here often, recommend it and will not be doing either after this disappointing service. We had come as a work team and were looking at hosting our next team function there.

Really relaxed vibe, I like the atmosphere and the look. Their wings and fried foods are great. I took two stars away because I ordered a margherita pizza, which was a cheese pizza with untorn large leaf basil and medium-sized round tomatoes cut in half and just slapped in top. One bite is only a huge hunk of tomato, which wasn't great. I gave it away to my table to eat and ordered something else. The server came by very rarely, and we had to hunt her down to pay. Otherwise, it's a loud place with good vibes and cold beer. Stick with the pub foods, and you'll have a great time :)

Great place in Victoria for chicken. It gets pretty busy. Great selection of beer. Their specials are great. Happy hr 2 to 5 and after 10pm they have other specials. The service was awesome. Fast accommodation and great tables in front of TVs.
Parking: Good location, walkable too.
