“Had a blast here. The owner was spectacularly passionate about board games and made everything fun. Right now, the prices at Board with Friends TOO cheap, not sure how they stay in business? Hopefully they will raise it later. Take advantage of it while you can!“

“I came in last night and was astounded with the high quality of service that I received. Having been a traveller for the better part of my 20´s and 30´s aswell, I have seen a lot of different establishments but none quite brought to life by the quality of work such as that of Sarah. Sarah tended to my every need with an air of confidence and brought my evening to life with her passion and wit. My evening at refuge was one that I won’t be forgetting soon. I’d highly reccomend this place to anyone!“

“Found this bar by chance and what a good find it was.
If you want sport plenty of screens to watch, music, good food and top selection of drinks. The bar owner came over to chat as he realised we were out of town. Made us really welcome and gave us a list of places to try the following day. We did return again for a few more drinks and bar food.
Would love to revisit and make use of the large outside seating area and watch Victoria go by.
