I've been ordering it because it's been delicious, but the quality of the food is gradually deteriorating. There are only fried pieces of chicken and the quantity is very poor. I think today will be the last time I order it.

All my good opinions were trumped by the horrible view from our dinning table of the kitchen sink, mop/basket, blackened white cabinets from the bottom of the sink.. And so on.Tha place was, however, busy on a Thursday evening. In response to owner's response:Learn to accomadate your customers; you're the buisness! Also, not my fault you don't know how to close a door which faces the front of the store and customers.

Bistro Chi-Q has the best pork bone soup, I’ve had in Victoria! The portion is hugeee and for such a good price! This was just for 2 people and I had leftovers for 2 days ?Will definitely go back to have this soup again, such a hearty meal specially if you have the flu or you’re recovering ❤️‍ Must try!!

Don’t order bulgogi. The meat was so stiff and rigid that my chin was hurting from chewing too hard, which didn’t work anyway. When the piece was too big to swallow, I tried to break into half with my front teeth and I had to pinched the meat with two fingers, then three fingers, using my palm as welll, pulled really hard and still didn’t work. Can you imagine using the fist to separate the chunk of a meat? Still didn’t work. I finally gave up after many trys and you know when you tears come up because you swallow a big chunk of food, I felt so miserable looking at myself and my coworkers face because I invited them to this restaurant saying my friends suggested this place for Korean food. We came and it was their first Korean food experience, which they didn’t say anything but personally felt as a nightmare. Staff and service were okay. Music was little too loud even when there were only few group of people dining. Anyway, music doesn’t matter in the end when the food is both cold and hot at the same time. Few areas were extremely hot and the others were cold as if just came out of the fridge. I highly doubt the whole section of the meat was microwaved or something instead of getting cooked before the serving. I DO NOT recommand bulgogi. Just order something else like fried chicken.

Nice decor. All the dishes have been very good. There are some dishes that are only available for 2 or 3 people that I wish came in a single portion, though. Our server was very friendly! There is a big-screen TV playing Korean TV shows that adds to the atmosphere.

We (2 people) came for lunch on Saturday (Feb. 24, 2024) and ordered the beef bulgogi for 2 as well as the half order of garlic soy fried chicken (we received approx. 9pcs). It was so delicious and we had leftovers to take home. Our server (unfortunately I didn't catch her name), was SO lovely! The complimentary popcorn and pickled radish were a plus too.10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be back to try other dishes!
