Rick arranged a delicious feast for 25 ladies. The tables were set up upon our arrival, and the food was plentiful and delicious. It is an adorable little café, and I recommend everyone to go try it.

The worst food and service we’ve had ever. First clue should have been was there weren’t any Asians working or eating there. The kid had no clue what he was doing. Three DoorDash drivers came and went while we waited. When the food came it was over cooked and cold. Definitely avoid this place when visiting Chinatown in Victoria, BC. There are some great places to eat in Chinatown. Fan Tan Cafe is not one of them.

I was walking on a winter day in victoria when I found Fan Tan Café. I loved the warmth of the restaurant! I ordered a Pad Thai with shrimp after the suggestion of the server, a nice spanish lady who kindly resolved all of my questions. It was definitely the best option, a delicious and generous plate came to my table and the Jasmine tea with the fortune cookie at the end made my experience even better. I'll come back to try the wonton soup. The best chinese food in chinstown's heart!! Totally recommend ❤️

Great service. Some of the food was not awesome. Specifically, the Spicy Chicken Rolls were soggy with grease. The ginger beef was great, along with the red curry dish. The soups looked great, but we didn't try them. Maybe next time.

We had a very disappointing experience at Fan Tan Cafe. First we waited over an hour to get our food and when it arrived it was not even edible. We ordered a combo dish to share. The shrimp was not cooked properly, the Chow Mein noodles felt like they were not cooked long enough and the noodles were still too hard to eat.The rice was okay, but the worst was the honey garlic chicken, there was something wrong with the chicken and it tasted not fresh and even had a sour taste to it.Overall this was one of the worst restaurants we have ate in Canada and I really hope the owner finds ways to improve this restaurant because it has potential but right now it’s not there. ?
We've been waiting a long time. The meal was also poor. We understand how busy your restaurant is. However, appetizers take roughly 25 minutes and the main course takes about 40 minutes. The food was not acceptable, and the chicken and shrimp tasted strange. That's disappointing.

Our visit today was OK. The 3 plate combo was delivered quickly but there was far to much sauce on the plate and a bit messy. Unfortunately the establishment did not have milk for non green tea and alternate sugar options. This is our go to place in Chinatown for wor won ton soup.
