Utterly incredible food. Anything & everything.
Used to be 5 stars on atmosphere for last 20+ years. 1 star deducted on atmosphere b/c you no longer play the jazz DVDs--esp Bill Evan, Keith Jarrett, and Dave Brubeck. Kindly restore that and the cool atmosphere that jazz complemented your food with!

One of important things to distinguish how good Chinese restaurant is the sound of wok handling from the kitchen. And, you can hear it definitely as soon as you enter the restaurant. I loved it.
Delicious kimchee paired with spicy dumplings. Garlic bok choy was delicious. Chicken Ramen excellent.

Tried the house special chowmein and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic. Friendly staff and fast service too. Will definitely come back!

If you’ve ever tried I Kyu from long ago you’ll know that it used to be well worth the price but this is sadly no longer the case. For one, the Miso Ramen is just a shell of its former delicious self (lack of fresh ingredients, different recipe) and doesn’t even include half an egg which it used to always have (despite the photo in the menu book having one). Secondly, the service today was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had! The server was incredibly impolite, firstly by not even wanting to try to understand that we used to order Shanghai style dumplings all the time at most a year ago, and was so dismissive of us wanting her to just simply ask the back as we’ve had it several times in the past and it was our favourite thing off the menu, and told us strictly there’s only what’s on the menu (we then asked her if there was maybe a change in management which could’ve led to the change in menu and she said no and gave very little care to our feelings) she practically made us feel like they were never there (they were on the menu above the tables although she told us not to look up there lol).
My partner ordered the pho but had no sides such as a trad pho would (i.e. hoisin which our server had no clue what was and tbh seemed like she was annoyed at our prior communication and ultimately brought over a different sauce). When we paid she just turned her back and walked away no thank you or welcoming gesture. Service was overall awful and made us sad as this was one of our favourite hole in the wall restaurants once upon ago when a Korean woman ran it.
Disappointed in the customer service, change in menu, and overall lack of attention to detail. We won’t be returning. 💔
amazing food with incredible portions for price. 12.99 Pho was a steal for the taste and size. Came within 5 minutes too so great if you’re in a hurry!
Friendly service, great food and average pricing. Was seated immediately and food was served quickly after ordering.
Delicious! The dishes were flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented.

Their Dan Dan noodles are to die for! I get it every time I go. They also make their noodles in house. Sooo good on a gloomy afternoon with some green tea!
Sit by the fish tank

The food was decent..the pork buns were exceptionally good. The noodles had really soggy vegetables so had a weird texture felt as if the veggies weren't fresh.Overall a good experience considering there aren't great Chinese restaurants in the city.

I came here on my Birthday; we originally had a different restaurant in mind to go to, but it was closed. We ended up coming here based on a simple Google search, and I am SO happy we stumbled across this little gem. I have to say, if you are looking for a typical dining experience and to be waited on - this is not the place. I see a lot of 1-star reviews purely based on the service, which I would say is lacking however, there is usually only one person on the floor serving the whole restaurant, answering the phone, and running the food! that is a lot of work for just one person! However, with just a little patience and understanding, you will enjoy yourself! The food comes out HOT, the Noodles are perfect, and the flavours are authentic. We got the 'Dan Dan' - 5/5 'Cucumber salad'- 5/5 'Steamed dumplings'- 4/5 'Spicy wontons' -5/5. I cant wait to go back to try the rest of the menu. It was a perfectly delicious birthday dinner. Thank you I Kyu Noodles!!

Very authentic Cantonese cuisine, the wontons are authentic. There are no such authentic products in Vancouver. The prices are much more affordable than in Vancouver. Arrived!

Me and my friends saw the reviews the night before and decided to come here the next day. I ordered 1 miso ramen which tasted fine on the other hand my friend ordered a hot and sour ramen which was overly sour (unedible) my other friend had ordered a pork-vegetable soup dumplings but yet received the complete opposite, a vegetable noodle soup with wonton with that food we looked over the menu again geting steamed dumplings which ended up being just steamed gyozzas and shrimp dumplings which was but besides the terrible food. The service here was absolutely terrible being no social contact just sat us down and took our orders. Would not recommend this place. I also just looked at the review and I am so utterly disappointed as i read a review were the owner commented saying "if you don't tip, you won't be able to eat. you are a poor man"

This place is super unwelcoming. Atmosphere was awkwardly quiet, washroom got no toilet paper, my hot n sour soup tasted like vinegar, waiter didn't say a single word, not even a Thank you was said after we paid. Dumplings were edible, mid.
