“This is our must go to restaurant when we visit Victoria via boat for 30 years. First-year there I ordered the BlackBerry halibut and every year since then I order it and it's still my favorite cooked perfect, it's hard to make halibut moist like butter. My husband loves the olive tapenade they serve with their focaccia bread and will get an extra bowl to pour on his pasta. Best cheese cake too. Great culture, attention to detail, they even use copper water pitchers, the water is great.“

“Tasmin was our server When we arrived, it was very busy, Tasmin seated us quickly in the "VIP" section which made my kids very excited. She was an absolute wonderful server, she was personable, funny and very knowledgable and helpful with the menu. She made our visit one of our favorite memories from our vacation. I would highly recommend this restaurant to families, it is a great atmosphere. Also, they offer a gluten free menu if you have dietary restrictions. “Had a family celebration here this week & what a fabulous evening! Everything was great, from the atmosphere, the food, the service to the OMG dessert. The tiramisu was sooo delicious, as was the passion fruit panna cotta. Such an enjoyable experience made even better by our top notch server Marcus, whose exemplary service, recommendations & friendly attitude just put the entire evening over the top!“

“Dropped in alone, fairly early on a Saturday night (6 ish). The place was busy, but they found a table. The staff were excellent, and seemed very well trained. Had 2 servings of bread w/ oil/balsamic, a linguini primavera, cioccolato, and a couple glasses of Chianti.
The food was good, but it was the service and the very vibrant atmosphere that turned dining alone, which can be a bit tedious, into an enjoyable experience. I got the sense that the staff were well trained and managed, and combined with the atmospheric architecture and decor, created a great experience.“

It’s clear that Windsor Cafe has a very dedicated following of regulars because I saw so many customers being called by name and addressed with warmth and kindness. The cafe is in a charming old Victorian home near the water which makes it a great stop for tourists and locals. As a chef myself, I was very impressed with the fresh food and coffee. The staff are so friendly and efficient and clearly care about their level of service. I will be back! This is my favourite cafe in Victoria, hands down!!“

“We ordered spaghetti and wagyu meatballs and pesto chicken radiatori. Serving is big, the sauce is a decent amount and doesnt leave your pasta dry, lots of chicken breast (just the way i like it), the 3pcs of meatballs were just the right size. Pasta noodles are cooked al dente. The ambiance is nice, not to loud music. They have dim lights but not too low that you cant see your food. We arrived around 5pm and was seated within a minute. Personally, we would have prefered some items to go with the pasta like garlic toast.“

“Incredible pizza and service. The variety of pizzas is a mix of traditional and innovative, the ingredients were fresh and the pizzas were cooked to perfection. Our server (Aiden) was charming and knowledgeable and made the dining experience delightful. The restaurant is small and nested beside a Starbucks in a hotel, so the atmosphere could be a bit better, but the great food and service more than made up for it.“

Our last visit was 8 years ago - now Nov 2025
The place has definitely changed, much smaller. There was only one other couple in there when we arrived.
The food was still great- we ordered the chicken and prawn dinner. They have very large portions, definitely lots of rice though.
I am glad we didn't go on a weekend, waitress said it is much busier. We definitely enjoyed our dining experience and will return 😀

“Last Saturday, I ordered the Romeo special pizza, which was delicious. However, the yam fries were not good, especially the sauce, which was way too hot. The waitress was also unpleasant. She brought the bill and card machine, even though I hadn’t asked for them. That made me unhappy.“

“My order is usually perfect except this time I was a little bit cold and according to the tracking it was 10 minutes late which would explain the cold pizza. Also when ordering online they need to be more options when you can change your address as my job is house to house. And I would also like to know how to add extra toppings on to a pizza when it doesn't give you that option thank you“
