James Bay Inn Pub

This delightful little place was recommended to us by friend. We have been to Victoria many times but did not know about the JBI. Well wow !!! Just loved the place. Rooms could not be cleaner, the bed was huge and oh so comfy and the pillows were great. At home I am a clean freak for the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom could have been my home bathroom . Stayed at the James bay inn for two weeks recently. Staff were amazing in the hotel/restaurant/bar. Cannot fault service in any way or form. The solo Room was just right for what I needed and sure the queen rooms while suitable as well. Nice rustic vibe and chilled atmosphere. Generally very quiet even with pub and restaurant underneath. My husband and I adore this charming old hotel and recently stayed there for our third time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, our room clean and comfortable, and the location is terrific, on a fairly quiet street within walking distance of the inner harbor, Beacon Hill Park, and more. We enjoyed having our complementary coffee outside on the shared balcony and watching the carriage horses clip-clop by (we were on the third floor). We can't wait to stay there again!
