We ordered A1 (Traditional crossing the bridge rice noodle) and C2 (braised beef brisket rice noodle soup). C2 stood out with its rich flavour, as it’s a braised beef noodle soup. It had the comforting taste of a classic Chinese noodle soup with very soft rice noodles. A1 came with plenty of ingredients, but it was less flavourful compared to C2. Still, it was an interesting dish, and I might try a rice dish next time.
We stumbled into this restaurant in Victoria’s Chinatown. Our food was amazing (Crossing the Bridge dinner, pan fried dumplings, rose drink, moon cake, rose cake) and staff friendly!
i adore the waitress' friendly attitude and how she explained to us the menu- we followed her recommendations to the t and it paid off. few things about the crossing the bridge noodles: the broth is heavenly, the accompaniments (such as bamboo shots) make it a very harmonious meal. id try that again.
as for the spicy wonton, the wontons are very good as well. not tooo spicy.
