March Reviews
We recently dined in March restaurant in May 2025. The food and ambiance were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised with the discovery of this restaurant in Victoria. Please note that this is not your typical Chinese restaurant that serves the run-of the mill dishes for a quick turn-around; instead, this restaurant serves authentic Cantonese cuisines. March is a cozy little restaurant known for its authentic Cantonese cuisine and nostalgic Chinese dishes. Standout items include eggplant and marinade, with the braised pork belly highly recommended by guests. The staff is enthusiastic and treats customers with sincerity, especially the friendly owner and chef, who is praised for his superb cooking skills and fresh, delicious king crabs. Complimentary soup and board games are offered while waiting for takeout meals, making the wait enjoyable. The restaurant features cute funky decor and charming jazz music, reflecting the owners' attention to detail. Recent visitors emphasized the excellent food and ambiance, highlighting the use of fresh produce and the natural taste of the dishes. The beef brisket noodle soup was enjoyed, although some found the boiled fish dish disappointing, wishing for clearer menu pictures. Fried rice noodles with squid were also described as to die for. Dining at March is a delightful and satisfying culinary experience, and making a reservation in advance is recommended, especially during busy dinner times.
