The sushi here is not worth buying. We ordered a dynamite roll and other rolls. I don’t know what they put in the dynamite roll, but whatever that was it was not shrimp. If it was shrimp, it was left in a freezer way too long and had turned into shrivelled cardboard. The other rolls had absolutely no flavour and the yam roll did not taste like yam. The prices on the rolls are not that inexpensive. The quality of what is being used in the rolls is so poor! Find a different sushi restaurant to spend your hard earn money!

I liked the great selection of vegan rolls to choose from. I ordered the Veggie roll and the Proud Peacock. Both delicious. ? The place has a very relaxed atmosphere, less crowded than the food place next door. I need to try more of those vegan rolls... ?

So much variety of vegan options, I've been vegan for almost 8 years and have extensive research on veg- sushi. This was byfar the pinnacle of my studies.The service was also fantastic and the servers were so polite and thoughtful.The restaurant layout is open concept and the sushi roll assembly line is right in plain sight for some bonus cool points.

I got the sashimi bento set. It was very filling. However, the salmon tasted like it has been frozen forever, and the spinach salad has no flavor despite all the sesame dressing on it. My friend's bento set came with seaweed salad, and I was quite disappointed that the seaweed they use it not the East Asian one, but rather the common North American bright green one. The food is not bad, but for the price I expected better.

Lovely lunch experience! Great spot for fairly quick and really delicious sushi. Loved the Fisherman’s roll and spicy salmon roll. The rice & steak sauce is also a must-try!!! ? ?
Nubo Sushi Roll & Roll has recently introduced a new menu, greatly expanding on the dishes they offer. I appreciate this shift to introduce more non-sushi based dishes such as bento boxes, appetizers, ramen and rice bowls. Perfect for cooler days you want something warm and comforting. Also opening at 11am instead of 12 is convenient for those of us working nearby to swing by on our lunch break -thank you! I got the Grilled Chashu Bento which was a very reasonable price of $18 given everything it comes with and Victoria sushi prices! It came with miso soup, the chasu veggie rice bowl, egg salad, gomae, 4 pieces of california roll, and chicken karage. I enjoyed my food, especially the roasted eggplant in the rice bowl - tasty and good value. I also appreciated that it came with gomae and an egg salad as in other bento boxes served elsewhere I never eat the salad. Karage is always tasty too. Unique choices. Would be nice if it came with the honey mustard sauce their sister store Nubo Kitchen serves. I will be back to try their other newer items and would order this again. The only negative thing I have to say is that the stools are quite uncomfortable to sit in. They are tiny and don't have much of a back. I will definitely sit at a table or order take out next time because of this.

It wasn't that I particularly enjoy vegetarian food but it was such a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The rolls made with mushrooms and eggplants were really clean and delicious.

Just had terrible service - when you prioritize your takeout customers over your dine in customers that’s where you run into problems - had miso soup that burned my tongue followed by mediocre dynamite rolls that took forever followed by the server not bringing me water - will not be back!
