We went for lunch today. Such a cute little restaurant! I had a chicken taco and a yam taco. Who would have thought a yam taco would have been good!!! My husband had the fish taco. Really good fresh food. I recommend trying it!!
Every bit as good as the Tacofino bus!!
Got the vegan burrito, and added yams per other reviews. I’m very glad I did, because the tempura yams made the difference between something bland and mushy, and something delicious.

Tacofino Victoria is a popular restaurant known for its delicious tacos and burritos. The restaurant offers a variety of options, including crispy chicken, ling cod, and steak tacos. The crispy chicken taco, topped with chili oil, is a standout dish. Customers often enjoy the fresh ingredients and generous portions, which make the meals very filling. The burritos, especially the roast chicken burrito with its moist chicken and flavorful chipotle mayo, are particularly popular.
The restaurant is praised for its good quality comfort food and consistently satisfying meals. Customers appreciate the friendly and quick service, as well as the convenient location. While some find the fish tacos messy due to the large pieces of fish, others prefer the hearty size of the burritos.
The restaurant has received positive reviews, with customers highlighting the delicious and fresh food, the friendly staff, and the casual but fun atmosphere. The West Coast vibe and the protein-rich snacks under $10 are also appreciated by customers.
