“HUGE RAVE!!! Wow. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Never been in this store yet. Today I had the best experience welcomed upon entry by the owner. Very very very nice man!! Explaining the homemade take home Enchiladas and other amazing looking Mexican food. (Which ones he preferred) I lost my bank card couple days ago and only had cash was a dollar short for the bill and get said no problem... Let me take the Enchiladas and the Tamale anyway. I felt bad cause I wanted to leave a tip.. I will be returning tomorrow to give the well deserved tip and the dollar I was short. Definitely will be returning to support this amazing local business!!!!“

“My wife and I arrived at 5 ish on a Saturday in early January and were immediately seated.The place was busy but we were given menus and attentive service from the start.We always get Fajittas and Quesadillas and these arrived quick, piping hot and very good.And it was in the range of real peoples wallets.We don't drink but the young people around us seemed happy.“

“I'm pleased to see this spot has survived the pandemic: not only that, they recently made it much more attractive and interesting by decorating it extensively in the themes of its Mexican, Colombian, and Ethiopian restaurants. The video on these reviews was from before the changes. The patio areas are also much nicer. I was so happy to see the Ethiopian restaurant survived as I love their range of Wot (sauces). Buy extra Ingera, the spongy bread used to soak up the Wot. Note: despite the name, it is about 20 metres off Cook on McKenzie Street. It's a bit of a local secret due to being on a side street. A great place to relax informally with friends or with a book, and the coffee and tea are good, making it a nice alternative to the coffee shops in the area.
