Back in late 2007, this was the absolute worst food experience I've ever had in my entire life because of rancid pork. And I had Montezuma's revenge 2 years prior to that...
So it really is quite impressive that you had pork buns that were that rancid. I was a foster kid and the entire family got sick but nobody got as sick as I did. I'm legitimately still angry to this day over it.
No sympathy for you, never ever again. Also I've avoided mostly all pork ever since.
I just now physically convulsed out of reflex action, after looking at photos here from other reviews.
... Go ahead and ask me if I'm joking or not...
This took me back to when I was a kid and went with my mom to Chinatown in L.A. Although my red bean bun and cream pie wasn’t the freshest, I feel like the recent bad reviews wasn’t helping. I felt like supporting the local Chinatown was worth it anyway. Also tried the warm meat sticky rice.
Baked goods were delicious. Honey bun was interesting and I enjoyed.
This establishment is very expensive. Spent $12 for 3 buns (basically double would I could get in Vancouver).
Food tastes good, but definitely more affordable options around the block. Or just get chinese bakery in Vancouver if travel frequently.
Food made me very sick the next day. Puking and just feeling awful.
Food was alright, but my tap wasn't working, so the owner grabbed the machine and my card and paid herself and later I noticed she overcharged me by 5$ more than what was previously on the machine.
Not great!
Small bakery, limited items but looks very authentic.
Love medly

Went there for baked goods. The only decent tasting one is the special pineapple bun although it was a bit tough. The red bean and the other bun we got were really stale and kinda moldy tasting. For small sized buns they’re 3.25 each.

I've been going to this bakery for well over two decades. The food is just as delicious today and as it was back then. Everything made fresh daily.
I could eat the pork buns all day! 💖

The pineapple bun was stale and tough. For 3.25 holds as the most underwhelming bun I have eaten.
